Candy Club is a candy subscription that sends 2-3 pounds of premier, brand name candy directly to your door each month.

Each box contains four different kinds of candy, and Candy Club offers both a curated box and a custom box.

I’m subscribed to the custom box, which allows me to select my three main candies every month. (FYI- I’m able to choose three out of the four candies I receive in every box. The loose, individually-wrapped candies are always a surprise.)

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

This is a review of Candy Club’s Custom, $27.99, box.

Dorval Sour Power Cola Belts

Sour belts are a candy staple in my house, and they’re my husband’s absolute favorite candy. We’ve been working our way through Candy Club’s large selection of sour belt flavors, and I think cola might be one of our favorites. Something about the combination of cola flavor and sour dust works really well! (Also, I want to point out that I can’t find Dorval’s Cola Belts for sale online, so I’ve linked to a different flavor. I’m not sure if the cola flavor is a Candy Club exclusive or just hard to find, but either way, I’m happy to have discovered it!)

Vidal Jelly Filled Twist Cones

Since Candy Club introduced custom boxes, I’ve had a lot of fun picking my candy every month, and I especially enjoy customizing my boxes so they feel seasonally appropriate. With Christmas right around the corner, these red and green jelly-filled cones seemed like a perfect choice! The cones are soft and filled with a jelly that’s kind of like the consistency of jello. The flavor is bright and berry-flavored, and it reminds me a bit of strawberry jam. These cones are SO good. This might be one of my favorite Candy Club discoveries ever!

E. Frutti Peachy Penguin Gummies

I always have a hard time resisting candy in cute shapes, and these adorable little penguins are pretty much my kryptonite. As soon as I saw them on the Candy Club selection page, they went straight into my box! They’re just as cute in person, and they’re delicious, too. The flavor is peachy, and they have the consistency of gummy bears. They’re really tasty, and I love that they’re festive and wintery!

Primrose Rootbeer Floats

I’m a big fan of these Primrose Rooter Floats; however, I’m a little surprised to see them because they were included in my box last month. (I’m not able to customize the loose candy I receive, only the candy that comes in the tubs.) I’ve loved root beer candy ever since I picked up my first root beer-flavored Dum Dum Pop as a kid, and these barrels have great flavor.

Verdict: This was a great Candy Club box! I loved all three of the treats I picked this month, and I’m so excited that I got to discover a couple of new, delicious candies. The Rootbeer Floats were a repeat item from last month, but I love rootbeer candy, so they’ll definitely get eaten. Value is always a little tricky with this box because it would be easy to buy bulk candy online for less than the subscription cost; however, even though this box doesn’t offer great value for money, I can’t help but love it. It’s so much fun!

If you’re interested in signing up for Candy Club, I’d recommend taking advantage of their MSA-exclusive Black Friday offer! Candy Club is bringing back their Buy 3, Get 3 Free offer exclusively for MSA readers for Black Friday! You can get double the candy in your first box, just follow this link and the discount will automatically apply to your cart – check out the deal post to learn more!

“Jelly Filled Twist Cones” I have never seen before; they look delicious and I will have to try them ASAP! As a subscription box they would be smart to offer exclusive candy flavors rather than often seen candies seen in retail markets.

The jelly cones really do sound good!

Thank you for including the ingredients in your post! Candy club doesn’t tell you in advance (as far as I could tell) what the ingredients are in each candy, which I find a little odd. It would allow people with allergies/sensitivities to pick candy they could actually eat and still join in the fun!
