Herb Stop recently began offering a monthly subscription box filled with a variety of its essential oils. All of their essential oils are 100% pure except for the blends (obviously) and the precious essential oils, which are stretched with jojoba oil.

This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out our review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

This month’s box is all about “Sugar Balance.” Once again, the theme is impeccably timed as we head into the sugar-filled holiday season!

The information sheet from Herb Stop is really impressive. There’s a lot of knowledge packed in here! Every oil they sent is matched with three different usage tips. That’s really helpful! Plus on the reverse side, there is a recipe for a sugar buster aroma blend!

I also wanted to point out that their information sheet contains important safety information under each oil. A reader recently commented on the dangers of essential oils and cats, so I thought I would mention this. It’s definitely great info to have on hand.

Cinnamon – Yep, it smells pretty much like you’d expect! And I always think of autumn as the cinnamon season. In addition to smelling fantastic, cinnamon oil promotes healthy circulation, relieves menstrual cramps, and has great sugar balancing properties.

Juniper – Juniper is one of my favorite evergreens, and I love its rich history as a medicinal plant throughout the ages. It has a wonderful woodsy scent, too. Juniper oil is great for reducing sugar cravings and bloating!

Lemon – I love the smell of real lemon! This oil also reduces bloating, reduced sugar cravings, and even helps with cellulite! Wow, who knew?

Gluco Stability – This is a blend of rosemary, thyme, cinnamon bark, clove, chamomile, cypress, and jojoba oils. It stabilizes blood sugar, reduces cravings, and encourages relaxation. I may have to roll this all over my whole body, haha!

Verdict: I am consistently impressed with the Herb Stop Essential Oils subscription. As I mentioned, the timing of their well-curated themes is absolutely wonderful and spot-on. I also really appreciate that they include safety information. Essential oils are pretty expensive, but the amount of oil in these vials is small. A little will go a long way, though, so I personally prefer having small amounts rather than bigger bottles I never use completely. The biggest part of the value to me, however, is all of the know-how that is packed into the info sheet! It speaks to not only what to use the oils for, but many different ways to apply them. I think if you are interested in learning A LOT about how to use essential oils to improve your health and your life, then this box is definitely for you!

  1. Looks like a good subcription.

  2. I am delighted with this subscription! Great info, good quality, and they are located not far from me.

  3. Once again, I have to agree that AromaBox is pretty darn amazing. Well curated, actually useful info, and quality oils, some I’ve not considered or won’t shell out for because I’m ignorant of their purpose/benefits. Oh, and that Gluco Stability oil this month? I swear I want to wear it like a fragrance! This is truly one of my top three subs.

  4. I’d be all over this if it was bimonthly, I love all the recipes and tips but couldn’t go through all those oils

    • If you don’t already have a stash, though, it’s a great way to build one.
