This month's box was packed with items including 2 plushes!
Sanrio Bath Bomb with Toy Inside
It's a Sanrio surprise bath bombs! The options for the bath bomb shape are Hello Kitty, My Melody, Gudetama, and Pompompurin.
The back of the pouch lets you know that there will be a toy surprise waiting for you inside the bath bomb. There are a few options including 5 GOLD (not real gold, guys) possibilities.
Mine was a little Hello Kitty head.
And inside was a gold Hello Kitty enjoying a bath.
CALPIS Japanese Gummy Candy
I was excited to see some candy in this box but unfortunately, it had all melted into a lump during shipping.
Little Twin Stars Blotting Sheets
Oil blotting sheets are a must have for all us oily girls out there. I carry a pack in my bag to combat shiny forehead afternoons.
I've never seen such a cute package for oil blotting sheets!
It's like a tiny pop-up book to present you with blotting sheets in the cutest way possible.
Little Twin Stars Sticky Notes - Set of 3
As a stationery fan, I appreciate the inclusion of sticky notes. You can really never have enough. The illustrations are adorable with the Little Twin Stars enjoying the night sky of Paris.
Peko-chan Mini Towel
This cheerful little towel is well made and spun in khaki and brown yarn. The towel is edged in pink thread and embroidered with a full-color Peko.
The towel is the size of a wash cloth and great for use as such. Small towels like this are often carried along in Japan as a hand towel in public bathrooms and even to protect hands from touching surfaces in places like the subway.
Doraemon Mini Figure
This is a blind box Doraemon item! Doraemon is a robot cat from a Japanese manga and anime series.
The figure I got is Doraemon ready for an underwater mission with fin, goggles, and even a cape. He also came with a little piece of gum.
So cute!
Neko Atsume Cup
This month's featured item is this Neko Atsume cup! The melamine cup features adorable Neko Atsume cats from the popular phone game. The cats are so cute and are having such a nice time all over this cup. I like the cat who has eaten too much the best.
Is that a cat wearing a police officer's hat? I love it.
Shinada Fruit Colored Baby Nature Plushie
This is the softest little plushie ever. And so cute! I love this round orange sheep. He looks so rolly polly with is round body and tiny legs. He reminds me a bit of my corgi! Subscribers received this plush in one of four colors: green, orange, pink, or blue.
Here's a better look at that face. This plush also came with a ball chain for hanging.
Shinada Palm size Plushie
This is the cutest little cat plush. I loved the small legs on the Shinada sheep and I especially like the no legs on this cat! This plush is smaller than the sheep and fits in the palm of my hand. The cheerful blue eyes, soft pink nose, and gray whiskers make the cutest face on this little white cat.
So round! The tiny tail is perfect.
Verdict: It's hard to put an exact value on the items in this box as most are hard to find online. But that's where the value comes from in a Kawaii box. This Yume Twins box has items from brands I recognize with higher quality and better curation that other Kawaii boxes I've seen. The value feels pretty good for the $23.99 price. I loved the plushies the most in this box but liked the fun of the fizzy bath bomb that had a surprise waiting inside. The melamine cup was a nice addition and I've never seen a cuter presentation for oil blotting sheets than the Little Twin Stars pop up box! Well done, Yume Twins!
