Honest Diapers Bundle
4.2 overall rating
12 Ratings | 4 Reviews

The Honest Company offers five different “bundle” subscriptions: Essentials (household items), Diapers & Wipes, Health & Wellness (vitamins), Organic Infant Formula + DHA  and Beauty.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

This review is of the Diapers & Wipes Bundle, $79.95 a month, box.

Note from Liz: The Honest Company was recently in the news about cancellation issues. Currently, you have to call in to cancel your subscription (you can update the ship date from your online account, though.) Phone wait times were reported at up to half an hour in some cases. The Honest Company has issued this response:

"Our mission from day one has been to help people live happy, healthy lives by providing products that families everywhere can trust. We are constantly looking at ways that we can further improve our customer service policies and procedures. Online subscription cancellation is a feature we've been working on and plan to enable in the very near future as a way to provide our customers an easier way to make changes to their subscription preferences 24 hours a day/7 days a week. We look forward to implementing these changes shortly. In the meantime, we always offer refunds to any customer who wishes to cancel, without exception, as well as a 365 day return policy."

Honest Company Diaper bundles are always huge since they have enough (or more than enough) for a month! Here's what I got this month.

If you're not familiar with this subscription, here are the basics: You always get 6 packs of diapers and 4 packs of wipes each month. For the diapers, you can select your favorite patterns, and Honest will randomly pick for you depending on what's available. You can swap in Overnight Diapers or Pull-Up style diapers for any of the 6 packs. You can also add on extra products for a 25% discount.

2 packs of Honest Overnight Diapers, size 5 - Regularly $13.95/pack ($0.63/diaper), save 22% with subscription

My favorite overnight diapers! Cute and they work like a charm. Unfortunately, the size 5 only has 22 diapers per package, so one pack lasts less than a month since we use these every night. I updated my bundle preferences so I'd get two packs this time.

3 packs of Honest Diapers, size 5, skull print - Regularly $13.95/pack ($0.56/diaper for size 5), save 22% with subscription

I'm always happy to get more skull and crossbones diapers! They are my favorite design and I don't mind stocking up. My son just had his 18-month appointment and is in the 95th percentile for height and weighs at least 27.5 pounds; the size 5 fits him really well right now. Size 5 is listed as "27+ pounds" on the size chart so it seems fairly spot on.

1 pack of Honest Diapers, size 5, "Love Today" print - Regularly $13.95/pack ($0.56/diaper), save 22% with subscription

Looks like I missed out on the Halloween diapers, they must have gone fast! I just got one pack of a 'limited edition' design this month, which is the US election-themed "Love Today" print. A nice reminder to love and respect one another despite all of the political drama this election season!

The theme for this design is definitely a little unconventional, but I like the idea that if I have a photo of my son wearing these, I will instantly know when the photo was taken and what was going on in the world at the time.

4 pack of Honest Wipes - $18.95 ($4.95 individually)

It's tough to find new things to say about baby wipes every month. 🙂 These are still the best wipes ever. Unscented, plant-based, my son never has a reaction to them, they tackle big messes with ease... the list goes on.

4 packs of Honest Wipes a month is really generous for us -- I still had four unopened packs from last month. I'm starting to wish that Honest would let me swap wipes out for other products (or more Overnight diapers!). I plan on giving these 4 packs to my sister in law, who is expecting a newborn baby any day now and could definitely use some extras.

I also got an add-on this month:

Honest Company Kid's Toothpaste, 6 oz size - $5.95 ($4.46 with the add-on discount when you subscribe)

We were close to running out of toothpaste for my son, so when I saw this add-on option I went for it without doing much research. It's fluoride-free, which is a must for kids who aren't skilled at spitting out toothpaste yet.

It definitely tastes (to me) a million times better than the Colgate brand we had been using, and my son liked it too. By "like" I mean he let me brush his teeth for a little longer than normal and didn't try his escape-artist tactics on me, ha! The Colgate infant and toddler formula contains sorbitol and is really sweet, which totally irks me when it comes to kids' toothpaste! Honest's toothpaste was way less sweet by comparison and had a realistic strawberry flavor.

If you're not familiar with Honest Bundles, they have a great discount for add-on items! You can get 25% off on up to 3 items with the diaper bundle, so it's a convenient way to be able to stock up on diaper cream, soap, and other essentials.

Once again, we really enjoyed playing in our bundle box! He's enjoying himself while I am trying not to think about how quickly he is going to grow out of being able to fit inside.

Verdict: For $84.41 this month (bundle price + add-ons), I got $108.60 worth of products at their regular retail prices, delivered right to my door. Honest is a little more expensive than some other diaper brands, but the quality and convenience are excellent, and the prints are fun. I only wish there was a way to avoid getting such an overstock of wipes!

Thanks for this review. I didn’t realize that you could now swipe in an extra pack of overnights (my little guy still gets up in middle of night so I usually use two overnights a night).

I also have never received 3 of the same type of diaper prints (I have had them sub in a different print when something was not available). Is this because if they “favorites” feature now? One of my few gripes was getting a pattern I didn’t like (instead of just getting an extra set of a print we obviously like).

The wipes. I may be in the minority but I used to run out if wipes and would supplement with Honest Co. wipes from Target. When my youngest was younger I went through a ton of wipes (oldest was potty training at the time too). Now, we use the wipes for more than lil bums. I always keep a pack in the car. Great for cleaning dirty fingers from snacks or a face that mysteriously has a smudge on it. I also use it to remove nakeup and debated putting a pack in the bathroom but since we are still not overflowing on wipes I just keep them in the youngest’s room and grab some when I need them.

I did get 3 packs of the same because of “favorites”, I was hoping to get those limited edition prints so I only had the skull print and one other print selected. I need to start keeping wipes in the car! I usually have some in our diaper bag but somehow they’re usually all gone when I actually need them.

I am currently at 9 packs of unopened wipes lol. Swapping them out for a different product would be amazing.

9 packs! Have you had any issues with them drying out if you keep them around for too long? That’s why I usually end up passing them off to friends when I have too many extra.

I feel the same way about the wipes. Since we can now swap type and size of diapers, maybe it’s the next improvement.
