Dapple Naturally Clean Nursery Spray, Sweet Lemon – 16.9 fl oz, Value $10.65
I’ve tried this product before and I really like it. It’s great to freshen the nursery but also any room! It smells fantastic and it’s made with baby-safe, natural products.
Rich Frog Duck Foozler – Value $8.95
This duck has a little bell inside and also a weight to help it stand up (but it’s not as effective as a typical “weebles wobble” toy). This is cute and my son liked playing with it for a minute but I think this particular toy is a little young for my one-year-old. I’ll be gifting this.
Zoe Organics Insect Repellant – 4 oz, Value $20
Yay! Zoe Organics is one of my favorite brands. I love everything I’ve tried from them. I love this bug spray and I like to keep it in the basket of my stroller to use when we go on walks.
Here’s a look at the label and ingredients. The main carrier oil is soybean oil and pretty much the rest of the ingredients are essential oils. This spray smells great, too.
Snorg Tees Baby Onesie – value: $16.99?
I just got this onesie in my September Bluum box, too, and I thought it was an interesting choice. Not exactly my taste but even so it’s appropriate for October/Halloween time I suppose. The problem is that it’s a 12-month size but my 1-year-old son is well out of 12-month clothing, so I won’t be able to use this. I don’t see a place in my account settings to change his size for clothing so I’ll shoot customer service an email about it and see if they can make a note somewhere to send me 24 month and up sizes.
Make My Day Peter Pan Collar Soft Silicone Baby Bib – value: $20.99
This bib has a cute design and a little catch-all tray at the bottom. It’s BPA-free, dishwasher safe (yay!), food-grade silicone, and phthalate- and PVC-free.
I think this is adorable. The neck is also very secure but easily removable by adults.
Monkey Mat – value: $19.99
I’m really excited about this mat. It’s like the Baggu of blankets. It folds up into itself as this pouch, which also has a clip to keep it attached to whatever you need.
Its 5’x5’ so there’s a good amount of room to spread out or have babies play. It has weighted corners to keep it from blowing away but you can also buy stakes to put in the loops at the corners too. I also really love that it’s machine washable!
The whole thing only weighs 12 ounces, too. The nylon has ripstop qualities to it so if there is a tear it won’t run easily. It’s also soft but still easy to brush dirt or sand or crumbs off of.
Verdict: This was my first The BabyGuy Box and I liked it! I’ll use everything (aside from gifting the duck to a nephew), and I got a mix of some favorite brands of mine and cool new discoveries. As far as value goes, this box totals up to $97.57, which I’m definitely happy with!
I’m really excited to see more boxes from them too, since I checked out what some of their past boxes contained and I saw lots of brands and products I love (like Covered Goods).
