My fave advent calendar is l’occitane’s. I big it every year and my mom and I always use everything in them. The theme is always cute and price reasonable.

I wish they made more candle advent calendars.A few are way to high and Yankee is such a rip off. 20 + for 24 tealights when you can buy 2 boxes on sale for 10 bucks. The other issue is I am not a huge fan of Christmas scents either. I wish they made a with candles, beauty and etc. Surprise jewery inside some of the candles and inside the suprise door they would be giftcards in some calendars as a bonus. Dreaming right..? ? Maybe next year. Lol

Super disappointing….this is just a mash-up of the exact same products from their smaller Beauty Kits. Nothing new or special…

Look Fantastic calendars may still be available for those that are disappointed in this and really want a calendar. It’s $95 so a bit more and of course, I only have last year’s calendar to base my hopes on this year being good.

Also, I noticed that the Lookfantastic calendar is being sold by a lot of other merchants where you can apply discount codes to get it for ‘only’ $70+. The same goes for a lot of other advent calendars I’ve been seeing (i.e. being sold by other merchants, not just the company that makes them). I think next year, I’ll be more patient and hold off until late October or early November to see what deals are out there.

Hey Luna, what other merchants? I bought 2 from LF but will get more from others if I can get it cheaper. You always have the best info!

Darn… I was really looking forward to this calendar coming out, but unfortunately it’s a bust for me. 🙁 Thanks to sub boxes, GWPs, beauty deals/steals, etc., I actually already own all of the items that appeal to me in this calendar. While I like the products, I don’t like them so much that I’m willing to spend $63 for dupes. It’s good in that I’ll save this $$$ for something else I don’t have and want, but it’s kind of a bummer because I was so looking forward to purchasing this.

I was waiting for this to come out because I thought it would be the one I purchased but after seeing the products, I’m not so sure. I’m really only interested in 14 out of the 24 items in the calendar…..

I really want an advent calendar this year but I can’t decide which is best and I know they’re going to sell out!

I might have bit at $50 with free shipping, but I think the price is too high. Agree, I want the total rv. I think I would only use about $50 worth out of it.

Agreed, I want it so bad. I just ordered the L’OCCITANE calendar. Do i need two? Maybe!

I bought the L’Occitane a couple weeks ago and loved it so much I just got a second one. Hubby loves the scents and told me to go buy some more lol! No waiting till December for me!

I did look at some of their smaller sets, but they only included a few items. This one’s got lots of goodies. I got free gifts, and samples with mine, too. Or use a $10 off coupon and get one for $45, free shipping.

You could use one in November and have a countdown to Thanksgiving! Would work great for one that isn’t holiday themed.

Nan

That’s what I did, but starting using them before it’s even Halloween. So I guess I need 3: Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas ountdowns.

Heaven knows I don’t need this and curious what the retail value is… but I think this is the best mix of products that I’ve seen and it includes great brands! I want!!
