Each box comes with a card detailing the items included, and the prices of the full-size versions. And the flip side is always a cute print:

Now, onto the items!

OSEA Ocean Cleanser – 1 oz (Travel Size) Value $16

I really love the OSEA brand (another fab subscription box discovery for me!) It’s made with only natural and organic ingredients – and I just love the formula. It’s non-foaming, but it still does a great job of cleansing my skin without drying it out. (And the scent is amazing!)

Meow Meow Tweet Deodorant Cream in Lavender – FULL SIZE! Value $14

While I prefer my deodorant in stick form, I’m always open to trying a new natural deodorant. This one absorbs into the skin easily and almost gives a powder-like finish. And the lavender scent is lovely, too.

Odacite Serum Concentrate – 1 ml? Value $3

This sample is tiny! But since it is a concentrated oil, I should be able to get a week’s worth of uses out of it. Only one drop was all I needed to moisturize my skin, and it has the added benefit of a lemongrass scent!

(Can you tell I’m loving the scent of everything in this box?!)

ADORN Mineral & Organic Hydrating Cream Foundation – Sample Value $4

Update: Petit Vour sent out a variety of shades to subscribers (no choice option). I was able to pick my shade and I went with Light-Medium. It worked well for my skin tone, too.

Here it is swatched:

The formula felt very lightweight on my skin, and I appreciate that is designed to work well for people with skin sensitivities. The coverage isn’t as full as I would like, but I think it work well most people.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $37 – I think that’s good for a $15 beauty box! I also love that Petit Vour seems to focus on quality over quantity, and the sample sizes are almost always good for multiple uses. The Osea Cleanser was the highlight for me this month (I can’t get enough of that stuff) but everything was great to try.

What do you think of the September Petit Vour box?

  1. I received my September box last week and it was missing an item. I contacted customer service and they responded with, “Each box is double-checked before shipping, but we will pull records to confirm.” Then it goes on to say that they will check weights with DHL & USPS.

It didn’t make me feel too happy that they don’t believe me. I understand that there are people out there who aren’t honest, but not all of us are like that. I think they should change their wording to not make it sound like I’m not telling the truth. Grrrr……

I love the Osea cleaner, though!

  2. For me too, they never asked me for the shade of the foundation. I reveived a too light one…but so far, I really enjoy this subscription! The osea cleanser is amazing !!!!

  3. I loved the box! But I was never asked for my preferred shade of the Adorn, so I received medium tan, which was far too dark for me. I’ll definitely be buying more of the Osea cleanser.

    • Oh thanks for letting me know. I’ll update the post. (Glad to hear you loved the box!)

      • It may have been caused by an issue with my renewal, which wasn’t processed properly from the prior month. They made it right, however, by giving me extra points for their store! I’m betting others received the email.

        • Nope. No email.

          • No email here either!

        • Me either. But I did notice that when I looked at my account, there’s an area where you can customize your account.

          • I don’t see anywhere to customize our accounts? Where is this located on their site?

          • Andi- I was a subscriber last year. I had to email them to get a link to the customization page. It was not accessible otherwise.
