Lyon + Post is a women’s clothing and accessory subscription. You make an account, build a queue of items you like from their selection, and then they’ll send you up to four items from your queue (that are available at that time) for you to try on at home. No styling, shipping, or membership fees – you only ever pay for the items you keep!
When you get your items, you have 7 days to try them on and send back whatever you don’t want to buy.
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Subscription Box: Lyon + Post

On the inside of my box lid, there was a little info card with instructions about what’s next and how to buy or return items.
There was also a little hand-written note!
Additionally, they included a packing sheet listing each item and their price to keep.
House of Harlow Iconic Etch Earrings – Cost to Keep: $65
These earrings are pretty cool – the stud and the dangling pieces are separate so they are very versatile.
Here’s a close-up on the etched designs.
You can wear the studs in front with the rest falling from behind your ears, or you can wear them as traditional dangling earrings, or as just a stud. I like that you can wear them so many different ways.
Velvet by Graham & Spencer Irena Sleeveless Top – Cost to Keep: $81
I picked this top to try because I liked the pattern and color. It fits really well and I especially like how the shoulder fabric goes pretty wide across so that I have no chance of bra straps peeking out of this tank. It’s a great summer top, but at $81 it’s a bit pricey for the amount I think I’d wear it.
Velvet by Graham & Spencer Marled Draped Cardigan – Cost to Keep: $169
I think this cardigan is the softest one I’ve ever worn. It’s also a great longer length and has pockets at the hip. I think I could have sized-down though, since this felt a little wide/big on me, particularly at the shoulders.
AG Denim The Legging Skinny Ankle in Vintage Leatherette – Cost to Keep: $235
I was pretty excited to see what a $235 pair of legging jeans felt like but I couldn’t even get these on. I ordered in my normal size so they must run small. Ultimately, though, I suppose it’s good they didn’t end up to be some sort of mystical, transforming pair of jeans, because at $235 I couldn’t afford them.
They have a “vintage leatherette” finish that is like a coated denim, giving them a leather sort of look. It also means they have zero stretch.
Verdict: I enjoyed browsing Lyon + Post’s shop and building my queue. I liked the items they sent me in this box but it’s very clear that this is a higher-end clothing subscription. You can see the price to keep each item when adding it to your queue, so it’s not a surprise when it gets to you. I do have to mention that I had a difficult time finding items that were available in a size large. You can join the waitlist for an item but I don’t know what that means or how long it takes to get something that way. I do like that the entire service is free and you don’t pay for anything but the clothing. If you’re a size XS-M and you’re looking for a higher-end subscription, you may like Lyon + Post.
