The theme for the upcoming GlobeIn November 2016 Box is… Giving.

More from GlobeIn:

By virtue of your membership in our happy little community, you are obviously already steeped in the giving spirit, and know the profound reciprocal pleasure that comes with the act of offering. This year, do it with a little help from artisans in Tunisia, India, and Mexico, whose own hands stretch from across the globe to offer you their handmade goods.

This year, know that your generous spirit has also made its way around the globe into the livelihoods of the communities your participation supports. We are delighted at the thought of their delicate work being received with equal delight in the hands of your familiars.

I subscribed to GlobeIn this past spring and it was great! If it was $30 a month with the same products and thoughtfulness of curation, I would make room in my monthly sub budget. This is by far the most thoughtful and creative box out there and great customer service. My favorite of the few years of subbing to a few boxes has come from GlobeIn and it was the Laundry Basket, wool dryer balls, soap nuggets and laundry basket. Also the blue scarf I wear daily when I am working on the computer. I work from home online and it keeps me warm in the morning 🙂

Oh god. Now I might actually bite the bullet on this sub – I LOVE everything they come out with every month but somehow I never seem to find $40 in spare change in my couch cushions every month…

I LOVE this spoiler, why couldn’t they have had that in last month’s box??

Anyone has problem with their shipping? Second time in a row that my box will be shipped late (schedule to ship tmr), at least this time I got an email addressing that.

The October Gather box will only be my third box so far so I’m not sure what’s been “normal” but my September and October boxes have shipped about a week later than originally said online. I assumed it might have been because I’ve been doing the add-ons (and they said somewhere that could hold up shipment). This time I also got an email letting me know when it will ship and apologizing for the delay. I’m OK with waiting a bit longer as long as I still receive my wonderful items and customer service has been very helpful so far. In another post GlobeIn said they had much more interest in their new Club subscription than anticipated so maybe they are struggling a bit from growth and demand too….great news for the artisans!

Awesome! When I saw the picture that accompanied the theme spoiler I was REALLY hoping that plate would be in the box. The only problem is that once I get it, I’m probably going to want more plates to go with it 🙂

It’s so pretty … oh, hand wash only. It’s so pretty at someone else’s house.

I hear what you’re saying, but if it’s made out of the same materials as the Malika mug, it should do just fine in the dishwasher. I have three Le Souk mugs (two Malikas) and have never encountered a problem from putting them in the dishwasher.

Brandy

Yes! I was hoping for the plate. Do you know if all will be in the Malika pattern?

Looks like the size of a dinner plate.

I’m gonna say the unpopular thing – I really don’t like the Le Souk stuff. Might switch this box for another one this month, as that plate will probably be prohibitively expensive to ship as a swap.

I’m also not a fan. I love the idea, less the execution. I’ll either switch or skip. Love GlobeIn, but not all thing appeal equally. Definitely skipping the Benefit basket for the same reason.

I like it just fine but I my artsy husband ripped apart my mug – he thought it was not well-done from a craftsman’s perspective.

I swapped the mug.

Eck, too bad. If I get a platter in a pattern I like, he is just going to have to deal 😛

I love this! Only hoping the platter is the Malika pattern as shown.
