P.S. I Like You By Kasie West – Retail Value $17.99 (On Amazon for $10.58)

Book Summary from Amazon:

Signed, sealed, delivered…

While spacing out in Chemistry class, Lily scribbles some of her favorite song lyrics onto her desk. The next day, she finds that someone has continued the lyrics on the desk, and added a message to her. Intrigue!

Soon, Lily and her anonymous pen pal are exchanging full-on letters — sharing secrets, recommending bands, and opening up to each other. Lily realizes she’s kind of falling for this letter writer. Only who is he? As Lily attempts to unravel the mystery, and juggle school, friends, crushes, and her crazy family, she discovers that matters of the heart can’t always be spelled out…

Kasie West brings irresistible wit, warmth, and sparkle to this swoon-worthy story of love showing up when you least expect it.

I liked this book! If you are in the mood for a light and cute read, this is your book! I think I finished it in less than two days. This isn’t a book I’d want to re-read in the future, but I liked it enough to immediately lend it to a friend and download a few other Kasie West books on my kindle!

And every Uppercase box book is signed by the author:

Bookish Thoughts Notepad – Value $8?

This is an Uppercase Box exclusive! (I have so many cute desk items now thanks to this subscription.)

P.S. I Like You Print – Value $5?

More cuteness! And I love that the pink matches the pink on the book cover!

Once Upon A Time Necklace – Value $15?

Another subscriber exclusive! Here it is on:

LizWearingNecklaces-001 (1)

It’s lovely, magical, and makes me want to plan a trip to Disney World!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $40. I’m estimating on the exclusives, and the book is signed, so that may make the value higher to many people. I’m almost always happy with this subscription. I think the curation is great, and it seems like my taste in YA books is similar to Lisa’s so that works out very well!

What do you think of this month’s Uppercase box?

  1. I love fairy tales, but I still haven’t found the perfect time to wear the necklace.

  2. I subscribe to Uppercase so that my 12-year-old daughter and I can read a book together. We read 1-2 chapters most nights, and are just finishing This Savage Song from July. She wasn’t happy with the book or necklace this month (I would have loved both at her age but she isn’t into “romance” and she doesn’t wear necklaces). We dropped down to book only for September. I realize I could purchase the book through Amazon for $11, but my daughter and I love getting a signed book-we really geek out over it. So, for $20 we can get a signed book shipped, plus if we like the bookish extra from that month, we will probably be able to add it on the following month.
