Each month, The Bam Box will send out collector items according to its theme – August’s theme was Strange!

They’ve switched from a large info sheet to a booklet. This was a great change, in my opinion, since it allows them to go into more detail about each item and the possible variants.

Inside is all of the information on each item you’ve come to expect!

Each month always comes with a collectible pin. I got Beetlejuice! The pin is cool, but I wish Beetlejuice had another item in the box – more Beetlejuice!

Gaten Matarazzo Signed Replica Hat from Stranger Things – Value ??

Let me start off with my favorite item this month – a signed replica hat from Gaten’s character Dustin on Stranger Things! This was a 1UP item this month, so it wasn’t included in every box – this month was a lucky one for me.

It has his autograph on the brim of the hat!

Demogorgon Killer Replica – Value $10-15?

The second, and final item, from Stranger Things was a mini-bat replica from the show! This came with nails that you had to add yourself. I didn’t follow directions too well because I pushed/hammered the nails in the entire way.

The BAM! Box always has a knack for sending unique items – this certainly qualifies as a unique item!

I loved step 3 of the instructions!

Totem Set from Inception – Value $10-15?

These were used to test whether you were in reality or a dream state in Inception. Who can forget that final scene with the spinning top! The top was Dom’s totem, while the red die was Arthur’s.

Custom Alice in Wonderland White Rabbit Pocket Watch – Value $20-25?

The next item is from Alice in Wonderland. The curators talk about the White Rabbit being their favorite character in the book/movie, so they decided to pull the iconic pocket watch from their favorite character and put it in the box!

Here’s a look at the watch face – I thought this was a fun and unique item this month.

Grimm Volume 2 #1 – Value $3.99 + Variant Cover

This is an exclusive variant cover for issue #1 of this Grimm series. There was also an even rarer black and white variant cover that was a 1UP item this month.

This is a spin-off of the TV show Grimm tat follows the women in the life of Portland’s Grimm, Nick Burkhardt.

“Strange” by Jonathan Adrian – Value $10?

Finally, you will either receive the “Strange” print like me, of “Pure Imagination” from Mindy Wheeler which is a tribute piece to the late Gene Wilder.

Each print is signed and hand-numbered.

Verdict: This month got back on track for me after last month’s disappointment. But, my favorite item was also not in every box, so I’m not sure if it will be a hit for those who didn’t receive the hat. I’m always excited to see what will be in The BAM! Box, though, since they’re making a lot of their own items, there are a ton of possibilities. On the other side of that, most times, the value of items is left up to you – so that’s the gamble with this box.

What did you think of the September “Strange” box from The BAM! Box?
