Scentbird was "born out of frustration with the 'perfume graveyard' - expensive bottles of designer perfume collecting dust on your dresser or cabinet - Scentbird was created to provide an alternative that is both practical and exciting."

Scentbird sends out authentic perfume each month in smaller vials for you to try them out, or switch up your scent more often.
When you sign up, you fill out a survey to determine your scent preferences, and they recommend specific scents for you to try out. You add perfumes to your queue when you find one that you want to try which is how they choose what to send each month. If you don't choose one by the cut-off date, they will send you the scent of the month. Next month it is Commodity - Book.
Scentbird includes a twist up perfume atomizer with your first shipment. You can order additional atomizers on their website for an additional fee. I received one this month as well in my men's subscription, but not my women's!
When you subscribe to Scentbird, you'll get a $15.00 credit every month to buy a full sized bottle of cologne.
Scentbird has also introduced a new a la carte service. You can choose any cologne you want, with each spray being just $16.95 plus shipping (shipping is free if you order 3 or more sprays). The cases are sold separately.
This month the next cologne in my line up was Spicebomb by Viktor and Rolf. The notes are bergamot, grapefruit, cinnamon leaf, pink pepper, lavandin, chilli, saffron, elemi, vetiver, balsam fir, tobacco accord, white leather accord. This smells really woodsy and would be perfect for autumn.
Now, a small side note: this scent immediately reminded me of hamster cage shavings. I know, that's a weird scent to associate this with, but there you have it. I think I would probably enjoy this on my husband occasionally, but the rest of the time, I would be looking for little rodents.
Verdict: As far as value goes, all Scentbird for Men vials are the same size, 8 ml, or 0.27 oz. This particular cologne that I chose has a value of $21.84 (based on the travel size on Sephora). If value is important to you with this subscription, I would recommend checking the prices on the colognes in your queue to make sure each month will be satisfactory as far as value goes!
For men's colognes in particular, it is pretty hard to find a smaller size bottle for traveling if you don't want to take all 3 oz. of your cologne in your toiletries kit. The fact that we can choose colognes we like, in a smaller size that we can't find regularly is great. I love Scentbird for this reason! Plus, you get your $15.00 back in a credit in their shop for cologne, even if you don't love your choice for the month!
