Ourpets 24 Karat Catnip Carrot – Value $3.29

I’m pretty sure I’ve gotten one of these before in a cat subscription box, but Sneaky had a good old time with it so I’m not complaining. (The Ourpets and Cosmic Catnip versions of this seem identical and in fact I found images in some places with both logos on them.)

Yeowww! Catnip Apple – Value $7.53

And Monkey claimed this right away. He licked it until it was wet and then he licked it some more.

Pet Greens Cat Craves in Chicken (3 oz) – Value $2.99

These are semi-moist treats that are made in the USA. They don’t stink and Madison, Monkey, and Sneaky all like them (Mr. Kitty can’t have them due to his IBD). I have had this brand before, but this particular product is new to me. (I think it might be a rebranding of their other semi-moist treats, though, since I am having a hard time finding these online. So I have linked to the other semi-moist treats.)

Pet Greens Garden Pet Grass Self Grow Kit – Value $2.99

I get these from time to time in cat subscription boxes. They contain dirt and grains. You poke some holes in the bag, mix the grains in the dirt inside the bag, add water, and wait until it grows. Then your cats will eat the grass! Mr. Kitty and Monkey love this especially. I do recommend putting a dish under the bag and changing it from time to time or it will stink (past experience). Just refresh the water when the soil gets a bit dry.

Cat pictures below!

Madison was a little afraid of the apple, I think!

petpackcat-september-2016-madison2

But he was up for treats…

petpackcat-september-2016-monkey1

Monkey licked this. And licked it. And licked it.

petpackcat-september-2016-monkey2

Here he is, taking a treat from my hand. He didn’t even bite me.

petpackcat-september-2016-monkey3

With the apple again. (Sneaky does not approve of this behavior.)

petpackcat-september-2016-monkey4

I guess this thing had some good catnip!

petpackcat-september-2016-sneaky1

What you don’t see is how she gouged a big piece out of one of my fingers with a claw and how I was bleeding after this photo…

petpackcat-september-2016-sneaky2

Sneaky going after the carrot toy.

petpackcat-september-2016-sneaky3

She has no room to pass judgment on Monkey with the apple after how she played with the carrot.

petpackcat-september-2016-sneaky4

My carrot toy!  MINE!

petpackcat-september-2016-sparkles1

Mr. Kitty was kind of offended that I was taking photos. Apparently I disturbed his sleep.

petpackcat-september-2016-sparkles2

But, his foul mood is excusable. He went to the veterinary ophthalmologist the day before I took these pictures and he had to spend a long time in a room full of strange dogs.

Verdict: I calculated a value of about $16.80 for the September 2016 PetPack for cats. Even though my cats and I liked all the items, that is less than half the cost of the box plus shipping. You could actually go to Chewy.com (where all the product links above go to), put all the items in your cart, pay to ship, and get them all for less than the cost of the box. Since you can't get this one for $15 a month or less, I really wouldn’t recommend it at this time.

I absolutely adore the picture of Sneaky with the carrot toy, the one that says “my carrot toy” under it. I think it’s a beautiful picture and it shows off her gorgeous eyes ? I’ve also noticed a trend with these types of boxes: they don’t have a great value. Most of the time the value is at or below the cost of the box. I only come to these reviews to see pictures of the cuties and to see if there’s an odd item I might want for my Lucy. I’m glad y’all didn’t pay for this one.

Great review! The photos are to cute, hope your finger is doing okay.

Best valued Cat box so far I’ve seen is Purr Packs. I keep reading reviews and hopes to see another cat box I like yet so Purr Packs seems to be the winner.

It looks like they really liked the items though- too bad the value is not at least even. You got some great action shots and thank-you for sacrificing your hand for photos! I love the shade being thrown. Catitude is the best.

The very first picture where Monkey is messing up the shot bc of the apple obsession is great!

Yeowww products are amazing. I once had a stray cat permanently move into my home for – I believe – the sole purpose of spending as much time with a Yeowww tomato as possible. He lived out his final months very happily with that tomato. (He was quite old).
