This month the theme for The Pantry Box is Autumn's homecoming...or that's my interpretation of the letter, that is!

This month the charity that Eat.Feed.Love is partnering with is "Wellness in the Schools." It is a national non-profit that "inspires healthy eating, environmental awareness, and  fitness as a way of life."

Eat.Feed.Love Raspberry Orange Sugar - $10.00?

This sugar has bits of dried citrus rinds and dried raspberries in it. I've included a picture below because it is just gorgeous! I tried a bit in my tea and I wasn't able to taste the flavors. Next time, I am going to try this in a lighter flavored tea (I used English Breakfast for my first cup) to see if the raspberry and orange flavors come through stronger. I also think this would work great in cranberry sauce since we're getting to that time of year!

The Girl and the Fig - Black Mission Fig Cake - $8.00

I enjoy figs, so I was excited to get this in my box. It almost looks like a sausage and has the same texture that summer sausage would. EFL included a recipe for crostini that had goat cheese, basil, and these fig cakes. I tried to do a riff on that, and it just fell flat. Something about the flavors didn't work for me. I would try this on a cheese plate though for sure - it would go excellent with brie or even better with a sharp, salty hard cheese like asiago.

Look at that sugar! It's gorgeous, am I right?!

Wine Forest Dried Porcini Mushrooms - $11.50

I am a bit of a mushroom lover and hater. There are some varieties I cannot stand and others that I love to bits. The good thing for me is that I generally love the cheap ones and eschew the expensive ones. Porcini mushrooms are one variety I do love. I enjoyed these rehydrated and tossed into some pasta and I think I will try them in risotto next.

Mustard And Co. Classic Mustard - $5.00

Mustard is my absolute favorite condiment and it has been since I was little. I've always preferred tart and sharp flavors to creamy and smooth flavors so mustard is just one of those must have items in my pantry at all times. This mustard is great - it's a really nice, classic mustard with a bit of that whole grain flavor thrown in.

Wheat and Malt Pancake Mix by American Spoon - $8.00

These pancakes had a really complex flavor. It was much deeper than your standard, run of the mill pancakes. The malt flavor and wheat came through nicely! I think I might try to find a recipe for similar pancakes in the future when I want something with a bit more depth of flavor!

Little Belgians Speculoos Cookies - $2.50

Who doesn't like speculoos cookies? I do not know a single person. These are fabulous, as always. I do think I prefer Biscoff, but these were a nice change and they are gorgeous to boot!

Verdict: I always enjoy my Eat.Feed.Love Pantry Boxes. They include a variety of items that are useful and new, while giving me recipes to use the ingredients with. The curation of the box is usually spot on and I haven't received many repeats in each box - which I love! The value of this box is about $45 if my guess on the sugar price is accurate.

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane...the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane...but she's always looking for a new subscription to try!

Hi, the code only gives $10 off, not 50% off. I just tried it. FYI.
