Anyone know if Luxor Box releases one or two more spoilers before the box ships? I’m torn on purchasing a sub to this because the past boxes have looked amazing but I don’t really want an ornament as my “hero” item in a box. Also, when is the last day to purchase a sub to make sure I receive the November box rather than January?

Did Luxor do a Black Friday deal last year?

Well this was enough to lock me in. I ordered this sub – the very first box when it came out some time ago and was not overly impressed so I cancelled. It seemed to get better after that – overall -so I just got the annual sub prepaid upfront with the free gift (which I will swap as I don’t like yellow gold). Excited to see what the next year of this sub brings! Out the door with the beauty sample subs and in with the cool stuff (I hope)! 🙂

I seen that they are doing a mini. Does anyone order this already or is the first in Nov. I would love to see a few boxes. The price is to high for me still but I can dream…

I said this on the forum, but this is the second box this year with a brand that also makes awards and corporate gifts. I just don’t find Kosta Boda that luxe- we give Kosta Boda bowls for 30 year anniversary gifts at work!

Emily

Tiffany & Co also does corporate gifts. I wonder if they were in a sub box would people love it or leave it?

That’s a pathetic 30 year gift! The last office I worked for have us gold bracelets with a single diamond at 5 years and an additional diamond every year following. By 20 years you had a $30,000+ Diamond tennis bracelet!!!

This is a bust for me… Don’t need any more ornaments and definitely not one for $50. And nothing in my house is blue or red…

I’m also Jewish. This’ll end up going up for swap. To me it doesn’t look like anything but a Christmas ornament. Hopefully the rest of the box will be things that I can use.

Jodie

Me too! And I’m not into Kosta B. I’ve gotten it as corporate gifts in the past too… not exciting. I’ve never even used the items I’ve already got!

This is my first Luxorbox and this spoiler is supremely disappointing to me. With a 3, 9, and 10 year old and hardwood floors, I don’t hang $50 ornaments. Hope someone in swaps wants it!

Danielle

I was thinking the same thing, since I have hardwoods and a 2 year old. Meh!

Lisa

Love the ornament, I’ll be looking to swap for whatever reason I don’t get.

This is a miss for me. Gonna cancel this month, unless another spoiler comes along that I like before I get billed. It’s pretty, just nothing I love.

@Liz

Will you start reviewing or posting the contents of their Petite box please? I’m interested in the details because I’m not ready to commit to the full box yet.

Sammee

Hmm…I guess it’s a no no to reference another review site on this board because my original reply was promptly deleted. Understandable. I’ll try again: based on reviews I have seen of the Petite box, it usually contains the second most expensive item in the full Luxor box plus one other item. But you won’t be getting the hero item in the full box. For instance, September’s Petite box was the Mottahedeh Heirluminare perfume and the Rose et Marius perfume.

Mattie

Oh Thankyou so much! That helps a lot because some of those hero items from past months, like the blue clutch, have been a miss for me. I would’ve loved to have gotten just the candle and perfume.

Sammee

Sara

Glad to see a spoiler, I love Christmas, but not that ornament. Plus with laminate floors, can’t hang any glass ornaments, they’d shatter if they hit the floor.

Leah

This is disappointing for me. I’m Jewish, I have no use for an ornament. Also, I’m so jealous of new subscribers. I feel like the only sucker who subscribed without getting anything for free.

Reply ButtonReply

Tamara

Well the gift is for annual subscribers and I don’t know that a lot of us are willing to pay for a year up front. I know it’s too much for me. If it was a six-month sub, maybe.

Reply ButtonReply

Leah

Really? I wonder if that was the case when I signed up. It would make me feel better. I signed up at the very end of December because they said subscriptions were going up so I wanted to lock in at $125….but it’s only a $4 increase so any gift I could’ve gotten would’ve been worth more!

Barbara

I celebrate Christmas but have no desire for a $50 ornament. This box will be an easy pass.

LindseyMP

I would hang it by a window and use it for decoration all year round. I don’t decorate trees either but these are pretty and not too Christmasy if that’s a word…..

Reply ButtonReply

Zo

I agree. I have one like this hanging from a long ribbon in my kitchen window. I keep it up all year long. It looks like what folks call a “friendship ball”.

Kari

Leah, I feel your pain…I am a sucker as well. And a $50 ornament….meh.
