Miss Tutii is an international beauty subscription featuring sheet masks primarily from Korea. They have three different subscription options: TutiiBag, TutiiMask and TutiiBox.

The bag came with this information card, which included more information on the products (plus some key ingredients and/or intended effects). This is nice since most of the masks only have directions/ingredients in Korean.

Color Combo Combos Skin Rose Moisturizing Mask – Value $2

This contains rose water (which has gentle toning benefits), peony (which is supposed to enhance radiance), magnolia (which has anti-inflammatory benefits), and lily (which is supposed to be soothing). There is also hyaluronic acid for moisture. After one use, I would say I did notice the toning, moisture, and soothing/anti-inflammatory effects. And this brand was new to me, which was nice. I did not notice much in the way of a scent.

Isqueen Provence Lavender Relaxing Mask – Value $2.50

This is advertised as being good for use after sun exposure. I use masks in the morning before work, so I couldn’t test that out, but I find lavender to be soothing and relaxing, so I can see how that would be true. I apparently didn’t notice when I used this that there was a second compartment in the package with a serum in it (totally my fault; I blame it on the fact that I did not have on glasses or contacts when I opened this, plus I can’t read Chinese characters which might’ve clued me in…) but that had olive extract in it that should be full of antioxidants as well as being moisturizing. At any rate, the mask by itself was nice!

Farm Stay Princess Sleeping Mask – Value $3.25

This is another multistep product and I *did* notice the first two steps here (seeing as they were helpfully numbered!). The first step is a thick white cream, the second step is a lightweight serum, and the third step is a black-colored sheet mask. I used them in the order recommended although typically I would use a thinner serum before a thicker cream. The amounts of serum and cream were quite large for me so I was able to cover my whole neck, too. The cream contains adenosine and niacinamide which are supposed to help with cellular energy and brightening, respectively. The serum is supposed to enhance firmness; I think you need more than one use to really see that (this is suggested for use up to 2-3 times a week). The mask had charcoal in it which I find good for clearing out my pores. Oh, and this was the single hardest mask package to open I’ve ever experienced.

Skin79 Fresh Garden Mask in Snail – Value $2

If you have used many K-beauty products you will be familiar with “snail secretion filtrate” by now. This is a great ingredient for moisturizing the skin. This is advertised as having a relaxing scent derived from natural fruit oils, but I totally didn’t notice the scent. However, as I am getting over a cold at the moment, my sense of smell is not at its best right now.

Yadah Moisturizing Mask Pack in Honey – Value $2.25

I’ve received this mask before (I believe from Mask Maven). But I like these Yadah masks so that’s OK. This is 100% cotton and free of artificial dyes, fragrances, parabens, and ethanol, so it should be good for sensitive skin. This one has honey extract which has vitamins and minerals as well as some antibacterial properties. This fit my face pretty well and I find these to be good general, daily-use sorts of masks.

Illi Moisture Mask in Lotus – Value $3

This brand is new to me. The main active ingredient here is lotus extract, which you will see often in Korean (and other Asian) skincare products. This is supposed to be soothing (I think it was!) as well as having antioxidants, so this would be another good one to use after sun exposure.

SNP Aqua Energy Fermentation Mask – Value $0.98

This has something called “blue energy complex” which is made from fermented extracts of blueberry, grape, chia seeds, mung bean, and soybean. I am skeptical about the benefits of fermentation, but I do like the antioxidants from blueberry and grape as well as the proteins and fatty acids from chia. I also think I saw a little redness reduction with this one!

Verdict: I calculated a value of about $15.98 for the September 2016 TutiiMask. That is above the cost of the subscription by about $4. Most of the products were new to me and I liked the inclusion of several multi-step products (even though I messed up and missed step 1 on the lavender mask). If you like trying sheet masks and don’t want to be quickly overwhelmed by them, this is a good subscription to try!
