Each month's box comes with an info card and how-to instructions. English ingredient lists can be found on the Mishibox website.

Proud Mary Triple Waterzone Hydro Booster Serum 15ml - $5

This serum by Proud Mary contains three kinds of beneficial waters from various countries as well as a nine-ingredient herbal complex. It helps to "optimize moisture balance" and give skin a moisturized and radiant look. It is very hydrating but doesn't fully absorb into my skin. Since I have oily skin, I dislike products that feel tacky or rest on top of the face without fully absorbing. That said, this serum may be great for drier skin types.

Proud Mary Triple Waterzone Moist EX Eye Cream 10ml - $5

This eye cream comes from the same product line as the serum. It also has one of the coolest textures I've ever seen! It flows like thick batter but is bouncy and viscous enough that you can poke the top without breaking the surface. It kind of reminds me of a non-Newtonian fluid! The cream feels cooling on my under eyes without being irritating. The formula never fully absorbs into my skin, however, I'm not as bothered by it as the serum. Overall, I love the bouncy texture and will continue using it for that alone.

MCC Waterbeam Glow Lipstick - $18

Mishibox noted there is an error on the info card-- this is a full-size item and retails for $18. Various shades were sent out and I received Raisin Berry, which is a vampy reddish-purple color. I am so in love with this formula and pigmentation. It glides on like a silky balm, feels very moisturizing, and gives my lips a healthy sheen. Even though the color transfers easily, it leaves an attractive berry tint behind that can last several hours on its own.

Swatch of the MCC lipstick.

Sam & Sean Ghassoul Clay Mask - $20

Subscribers received either the Ghassoul or White Clay Mask. I got the Ghassoul one, which is made with Moroccan Ghassoul clay. It helps to remove sebum, dead skin cells, and impurities from the skin while the tea tree and centella asiatica extracts help calm acne and tighten pores.

The little dude on the box is so funny!

I like the matte black tub but I'm slightly disappointed it doesn't come with a spatula. The mask contains tiny exfoliating bits, which is something I don't see much in other clay masks. That gentle exfoliation is a nice bonus when I'm rinsing my face.

Thank You Farmer True Water Deep Cotton Mask - $5

Subscribers receive either the True Water Deep Cotton Mask or the Miracle Age Repair Cotton Mask. My True Water Deep Cotton Mask claims to provide hydrating, brightening, and anti-wrinkle properties while cooling and calming the skin. The mask felt cooling and the essence was a tad bit sticky but it brightened my complexion and calmed redness after use (the effects were temporary). I would consider using this again before a special occasion just for that brightening effect.

Verdict: This month's Mishibox was amazing. I loved trying out every single item, and four out of the five items were hits. My favorite is the MCC lipstick-- it is the perfect shade for fall! The total retail value is consistently high. This month added up to $53, which is more than twice the cost of subscription. I think overall Mishibox has one of the best curation and value out there while still being affordable!

This sub has fast become my favorite. I get a few – okay several! – boxes each month, and I most look forward to this box out of all of them! Always thoughtfully curated with interesting and cute products. I’m loving the masks (clay & sheet – I got the age repair) and after this review, I’m looking forward to giving Triple Waterzone Eye Cream a try.

Can’t wait to see what’s on the menu for October!

I loved this month’s box! But then again, I always love their boxes. 🙂 I really liked the lipstick shade. I think it was one of the first lip products I’ve received in a K-Beauty box that really worked for me. I also loved the name of the masks “Haters & Lovers”. I got the white mask, and instead of it saying “Da(mn) Trouble Hater” (first word modified in case it caused my comment to get flagged), mine says “Mighty Vitalizing Lover”. Ha, ha. K-beauty products are always so much fun.
