Each month's box comes with an info card and how-to instructions.

Mishibox-August-2016-1

Benton Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel 5ml - Value $0.95

This soothing gel contains 80% aloe vera leaf juice and 10% propolis extract to heal moisturize, fade blemishes, soothe redness and acne, and even out complexion. It's fragrance free, lightweight, fast absorbing, and does not leave any residual feeling on my skin.

Benton Aloe Vera Skin Toner - Value $0.43

This is a toner that's slightly more viscous than water. It contains aloe vera water, snail secretion filtrate, and BHA (beta hydroxy acid) and can be used by all skin types. Because of the slightly viscous consistency it does feel more hydrating than a regular toner. That said it does not feel sticky, absorbs quickly, and has no fragrance.

Heimish All Clean Balm 7ml - $1.05

I received this sample in PinkSeoul boxes before and really like it! It is a light balm that melts upon contact with skin and emulsifies into milky liquid when washed off with water. It cleans off everything, even waterproof eye makeup.

Berrisom Oops! My Lip Tint Pack in Pure Pink - $16 (on sale at Memebox for $6)

Subscribers receive a mystery shade and I got Pure Pink. This is a long-lasting lip tint that you apply and peel off after 10 minutes. I have received this product in different shades before and I'm always impressed by its longevity.

Mishibox-August-2016-2a

Swatches of the Berrisom lip tint. Top is upon application and bottom is after the tint is peeled off.

Graymelin Rice & Sugar Soft Scrub - $20.74

This is a facial scrub that cleanses pores and leaves skin smooth and moisturized. It's made of black sugar, rice, and canola to moisturize, brighten, and smooth complexion. Also, it is basically fragrance free. The sugar grains are finely ground so it feels very gentle on the skin. My face feels clean, refreshed, and very smooth after use. This might be my new favorite sugar scrub!

Mediheal N.M.F. Aquaring Ampoule Mask - $3

This face mask helps to moisturize while improving the skin's elasticity and texture. The cotton sheet is thin while the fragrance is a soft floral. The essence is especially nice because it hydrates without feeling too sticky after the mask is removed. I don't know who this Korean actor is though. Does anyone recognize him?

Verdict: Mishibox always delivers on value and great item selection, so I'm very happy with my box as always! My favorite item is the Graymelin sugar scrub; I highly recommend checking this out if you're looking for a gentle exfoliator. This month's estimated retail value is $42.17, which is almost twice the cost of subscription plus shipping.

HYUN BIN. It’s time to put your phones down and watch My Name is Sam Soon and Secret Garden.

I’m enjoying the sugar scrub from Aug’s box too. My face mask was one of the FORENCOS 7 Days Mask – I got Wednesday (caviar moisture silk). I’m not sure who the guy on the packaging is, but dude has the most pore less, even tone skin of any human being on the planet! 🙂

Great review – Looking forward to the Sept box!

I am really on the fence between this box and PinkSeoul. They both look great, but choices must be made. Which do you recommend? (PS I would probably choose the PinkSeoul Plus, as I’m on the border of 35)

I really enjoy both, but if I had to pick one, I would pick Pink Seoul. I did Pink Seoul Plus, and I really liked the variety of products & brands, plus virtually everything was a full sized product. It’s a bi-monthly box. I would highly recommend going through MSA’s reviews of both boxes to get a feel for the brands, types & sizes of the products offered. 🙂

I’m also keeping my eye on WIN. To be honest, their cute bags are what sold me. There’s also a new K-Beauty box called BomiBox that will debuting soon. If I remember correctly, their box will have 8 full-sized (and/or deluxe?) products, and will be $38/month (or was it bi-monthly?). Pricey, but I think they would give Beauteque & Pink Seoul some good competition. This is one I’m hoping to see reviewed on MSA as well!

Also, like someone else said, Memebox is another idea. They have one-time purchase boxes, and they’re always coming out with different boxes, most times always containing different products, and the value of each one is pretty good.

I signed up for the BomiBox, my first box will be October (I think September was their first box ever, and it was invitation only I think). They had a coupon code that reduces the price to 35.00 a month for life (includes shipping). This will be my first exclusively K-Beauty box and I am excited to see what its like.

Thanks for the input! I just joined the waitlist for WIN, it looks really cute, and my daughter will love the little bags! I also have been eyeing Memebox. So much to choose from, they all look great!

I cancelled WIN. ting products and foils

Becca

I just bought a Meme box too and a bunch of the sheet masks on sale for a dollar. I had a ten percent off code for signing up for emails and i got free shipping for spending $35. I can’t wait to get it.

I couldn’t decide which one to subscribe to either. When i was researching i came across a brand new Asian beauty box kit called WIN Beauty Kit. WIN stands for What Is Next. I absolutely love it. They send 5 or 6 deluxe size Asian beauty products every month with at least 1 full size item. It comes in a cute collectible makeup bag and it costs $14 plus free shipping. My first bag had 2 full size items and the deluxe samples were really big. I actually contacted WIN and told them about MSA and that they should have their bags reviewed here and put on the directory. They responded and said they would definitely reach out to MSA so hopefully we will see WIN on here soon.

I just got waitlisted for the WIN box too! Thanks so much for posting this info Becca!

I’m falling in love with the K beauty boxes, and now that the Essence box is no more, I’m looking for a cool replacement. This one looks like it will totally fit the bill!

The sister and brother who run Mishibox are awesome people. I have been subbing off and on since box 1, and I am more impressed with them than any other K-beauty box. I like Memebox because of curation and box value, but have found all the others to be far behind Mishi and Meme in terms of overall quality. ease of CS and consistency.
