MIGHTY FIX AUGUST 2016 - ITEMS 1

Lunchskins Reusable Sandwich and Snack Bags – value $9.99

The item this month is these cute reusable snack bags! I love these. These pouches feel like nice quality and seal with a strong Velcro strip. They’re also certified food-safe fabric, BPA-free, lead free, and phthalate-free. These would be good for a sandwich, simple snacks, or even for organization.

MIGHTY FIX AUGUST 2016 - ITEMS 2

These wouldn’t work for anything juicy, and if you used it with fruit you’d want to pat off any extra water from washing, just because it doesn’t seal completely.  But they’re still very practical and work well for a ton of things.

Verdict: I actually didn’t already own any reusable snack bags so I’m happy Mighty Fix sent me some! Plus these work really well and feel like a nice quality. The value breaks even with the box. And now I’m equipped to reduce my number of plastic baggies that I use (the average family uses over 500 a year!).

I received the same and I love these better than the ones I all ready own! Perfect timing since school just started and lunch packing has begun!

So far I’ve gotten dryer balls and Bee’s wrap, both things I wouldn’t have thought to buy and now use all the time. I like this company a lot.

I got those too! And the dryer balls for August, and the reusable produce bags for July 🙂

I got these last month; it looks like MightyFix sends out different items depending on the time you subscribe. Looking at your last few reviews, you get items the following month after I do.

What did you get this month so we know what’s coming up next?

Whoops – I meant 3 cups, not 3 ounces! 🙂

It seems like my subscription is a month behind what you normally get so I’m hoping that I get these bags for September and not the sun screen from your August sub. I really like the green color and will find these bags useful since I use quite a few plastic bags for various items.

I saw them on clearance at target yesterday for ~$6 I think.

How do you clean them? Can you put them in the washing machine or do you have to wipe them?

Randi

I’ve put mine in the dishwasher on the top rack. I just made sure to use the little clips that are on the racks to hold on to one side of the bag

The info card above says to turn them inside out to hand wash or pop them in the dishwasher on the top shelf.
