The code COLOR8 is not valid.

Julep codes can be a little tricky for me sometimes but make sure that the gift set is in your cart *before* you try to apply the coupon code! If you use that COLOR8 link above to join, the gift set should automatically be in your cart (displays for $150). Then you should be able to successfully apply the coupon. If it’s not in your cart, applying the coupon code doesn’t add it in for you (which is what I would expect to happen 🙁 ) Hope that helps!

Love Julep, been getting their mystery boxes when it has gone on sale. Really want to subscribe and get all the maven benefits but being military we aren’t really suppose to wear nail polish. Technically the regulations state we can’t wear anything too distracting but it is still looked down upon based on the unit/command :-p. I love the quality of juleps polishes, they don’t dry out my nails even with having to take it off before duty and reapplying when I have enough time off.

What about nude shades? They might not get noticed much.

If you’re Army, you can’t wear polish anymore (since 2014) on your fingers. We used to be able to wear subtle “tasteful” colors, like very light pink or light beige. Nothing snazzy, but it was still nice. And then they changed a lot of things on the regulation (like certain hairstyles) and non-clear fingernail polish is now strictly forbidden (my toes are always done).

Wendy

Technically that is supposed to be allowed but it is still frown upon it :-p. Clear polish has been the only type I have worn on duty that hasn’t been an issue.

Can you paint your toes?

Yes I do! But don’t use a lot of polish for that. Which is why I love that Julep has mystery boxes once in a while 🙂

I opted for the cleansing stick, Ebony polish, and Plum Shimmer eyeshadow stick for my Maven box. I added on Alysha, Whitney, and Regina (for my coworker). 🙂

I also caved last night and bought the Winged Glamour (eyeliners w/sharpener) and Royal Suite (mini-holo polish) sets. I have a problem. ::sigh::

I LOVE the colors, I soooo don’t need anymore nail polish though. Trying to stay strong and not re-sub lol
