This letter was included in my box this month. This month’s package includes a Gina Louise original wrap dress worn by “Gone Girl” star Lola Kirk on the cover of the LA Times!
Here’s a little bit about how this subscription works. Basically, you pay your styling fee and receive your box full of clothes and accessories. You have three days to decide what you would like to keep and what you want to return. They send a return envelope so you can send back anything you don’t want to keep, and the postage is pre-paid so you don’t have to pay to return things. You’re charged for what you do keep. It’s that simple!
This is my invoice for the package. The retail prices are listed, but as a Bling Box member, I get a special VIP discounted price on the items sent. If I choose to keep everything in the box, I get a 20% discount on the whole thing. And of course, my styling fee is deducted from whatever I decide to keep. My styling fee is listed as $20, as you can see. Once you have been a Bling Box member for three months, your styling fee is dropped from $49 down to $20. That’s awesome! In this case, the original retail price for all the items was $508. If I keep everything in the box, my outstanding cost is only $240!
Wrap Dress – Price to keep $50
I LOVE this dress! But, as you can see, it’s too small. It was actually sent in a smaller size than what I wear. I contacted my stylist and she let me know that it ran large, so she thought it would fit. It’s no problem exchanging items for different sizes, though, so I think I might do that.
Leggings – Price to keep $60
These leggings, on the other hand, were sent in the correct size, but they’re just way too small! I don’t know why. They are super stylish, though. Maybe I should exchange these for a larger size, too?
Kimono – Price to keep $50
This kimono, however, fits and is a total win! I love it!
Drape Blouse – Price to keep $55
This blouse was also sent to me in the wrong size, and was part of the same conversation I had with my stylist. She said that this also ran large, so she thought it would fit. I am free to exchange it for a different size, but this one is not really my style. It’s very pretty and super stylish, though.
Gina Louise Blue Top – Price to keep $38
I love the color of this top, and it fits pretty well, so I think I’ll keep this one.
Suede Fringe Booties – Price to keep $52
Super cute boots! It is just about bootie weather here, so I think I might have to keep these.
Music Earrings – Price to keep $15
My stylist really knows me! She knows I’m a musician, and I love sparkly pieces, so she sent these lovely earrings this month.
Verdict: I really enjoy my Gina Louise Bling Box, and I totally look forward to it every month! The prices are also quite reasonable! This was a strange month, though. I liked most things she sent, but three sizing issues is a lot. To be fair, though, this is the first time I’ve ever had any sizing issues with this subscription. Also there are free exchanges for different sizes, so it’s really not a problem for me.
