The info card includes details about the fabric, care, and description of each top.

ELIZABETH & CLARKE FALL 2016 - items 1

The McCord (60% Modal/48% Cotton; trim: vegan leather)

The McCord is a fantastic basic staple top. It’s minimalistic yet edgy, thanks to the subtle vegan leather panels at the shoulders! It’s also really comfortable, fits well, and is flattering.

ELIZABETH & CLARKE FALL 2016 - items 2

Here’s a slightly closer look at the vegan leather panels. One thing I love about Elizabeth & Clark’s clothing is that they find great ways to add some classy, edgy details to clothing without making it unprofessional.

ELIZABETH & CLARKE FALL 2016 - items 3

The Chambers (100% crepe de chine)

The Chambers is a raven black top with laser-cut scallop detailing at the bottom and neckline. It also has an overlap detail in the back (shown in the next picture). It also fits well and is a nice classic piece. Elizabeth & Clark suggest pairing it with jeans or a pencil skirt.

ELIZABETH & CLARKE FALL 2016 - items 4

This top is feminine and versatile. I do have to not that it’s a true overlap back, meaning that if you bend forward or move your back will show. For smaller-chested girls they probably would have less of a problem with that. However I will prefer to wear a camisole underneath for practicality, due to the way it fits me.

ELIZABETH & CLARKE FALL 2016 - items 5

The Branwell (60% modal/40% cotton)

The Branwell is a fantastic top. It’s a chic but casual long-sleeve with a v-neck and lace elbow patches (shown in the next photo). It’s super comfortable, easily wearable, and again I have nothing but good things to say about the fit.

ELIZABETH & CLARKE FALL 2016 - items 6

Here’s a look at the back and elbow patches – I think they’re so cute and a fun play on the elbow patch trend. I also love the detail on the info card, suggesting to style this with your favorite jeans and a Pumpkin Spice Latte in hand!

ELIZABETH & CLARKE FALL 2016 - info 3_

Also included were some promotion cards for Peach Dish and Plonk.

Verdict: I’m a big fan of the Fall 2016 Elizabeth & Clarke box! I’m really happy with the designs, quality, wear-ability, and fit of all three tops. I think $60 for a 3-top box is a fantastic value. Also: How awesome is it that all of these are machine-washable? I’m so excited about that. Personally I feel like I have too much on my plate to wear things I need to hand-wash or take to the dry cleaners!

This review needs to be updated… the prices are double what you have here. I was very disappointed.

I am wondering if they changed the cost since you did your review? I just went to the website and it says its $40/shirt for 3, $50 per shirt for 2, and $60 for just 1. 🙁

FYI for anyone following- the spring collection is online.

You look amazing!
I am in love with the Chambers shirt. Looking online it only shows winter though…does the winter season start now for them, or is it still possible to get fall pieces?

I’d email – I’ve subbed in prior season’s shirts before but don’t know if they’d ship off schedule.

I think I like the Chambers best because it’s unique, and I like how you could change the look by wearing different colored camisoles underneath….maybe a pretty gold for the holidays. All three tops are so comfortable and cute. The elbow patches are fun on the Branwell. This was my first box, and I love it!

I must be desensitized to exposing a lot of flesh after living in Las Vegas for a decade since the Chambers didn’t bother me at all worn by itself. I rarely if ever put anything under my tops except my bra. Of course I’m usually just grateful if a top fits over my chest, period, with a bra anyway. I’m small framed/thin but my boobs are not. I was worried the Chambers would be a no-go like two of the shirts from the spring collection but I was pleasantly surprised when the size 8 fit fine (with a bra, lol, though I don’t think I could squeeze anything else under there ever if I wanted). Someday I’m getting them reduced (and by then, lifted-thank you gravity).

Wow! All three are super-flattering on you! I may have to give this box a try.

This was my first box and I’m super happy with it. The Chambers I received had a defect- a seam was not sewn. I sent a pic to customer service and they sent me a new one the very next day. I wore it as soon as I got it (with a cami underneath, paired with berry colored skinny jeans) and got tons of compliments. I passed on the gray one because it’s a bad color for me, and opted for one of the white blouses (the one with no collar) and I’m crazy about it. Love the garnet one too. I did opt to skip the winter box, though… Just not my style- especially the cat tee. But I’ll be looking forward to spring.

I skipped winter as well – I like these more for work and in my conservative office I didn’t think any of those were a great fit.

I wish Golden Tote’s customer service was that good – I had a dress that had TWO places where the seams were undone and I was offered an $8 credit “to have it repaired” :/

Chambers didn’t fit my arms. I don’t think I had a 13-inch circumference since grade school. Hopefully the small sleeves won’t be a trend.

Love the other 2 shirts though

Tracy

I returned two chambers too. Great easy experience but sad it didn’t fit well.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought the arms on Chambers were small. I soldiered through the day because I loved everything else about that top but yeah, those are some tight sleeves. I put a camisole underneath because of that overlapped back and was still comfortable. I didn’t care for either of the other tops so I got a Parker ( the popover, I think that’s the name) and Liz Lemon. The Liz Lemon runs big. Next box looks a little crazy so I selected a Liz Lemon in one size down.

The first time I wore the Chambers out, I got three compliments from three different strangers. Don’t normally get compliments on my clothing and it made me feel happy. 🙂

I will say though that their sizing really varies for me, though a lot of brands are like that. I have an hourglass figure, and I have to go with my waist measurement or hip measurement. Either baggy in the waist or tight around hips (have to go with hips in fabric that doesn’t stretch). Waist defining stuff definitely look best on me. Still love their clothes regardless hehe

I have the exact same body shape and I’m also short, so I’ve had some of the fit issues you’ve described with their clothing. I’ve also had trouble with the “arm holes” (I know there is a better/proper name for where the sleeves connect with the bodice of the shirt) – they have been too big on all of my shirts. However, all of the shirts I’ve received have been very pretty pieces and very well made. Like Haley, I love that they are machine washable! ?

Wendy, it’s called the armscye. 🙂

Ashlea

Agree completely. I am wearing the Chambers for the first time today and really wish I was wearing a camisole. It feels too breezy back there. 🙂
