Bug Protector Spray – 2 oz, value: $3.49

This is an all-natural bug repellant made with essential oils. The label says it contains lemongrass oil, geranium oil, peppermint oil, and cinnamon oil. It actually smells really good, too. I’m not someone who gets bit much while outside so I can’t speak well to the effectiveness without going on a deep-woods hike or something, but I think this is probably a nice product for me and my family, for regular use when we go on walks or something. We don’t live in a particularly buggy area, so this little extra repellant boost seems like a good product for us.

Previse Skincare Hydrofoam Hyaluronic Moisturizer – 1.7 fl oz (full size), value: $48

This seems like a super new product from Previse Skincare because the retail page is selling pre-orders! This product is “crafted with moms for moms” and is made with natural marine and botanical ingredients. It’s also naturally fragrance free, contains no essential oils, petroleum, mineral oils, fragrance, parabens, glycols, and phthalates.

I’ve never used a foaming moisturizer before! It was interesting but it is very light and absorbs very well.

Dapple Bottle and Dish Soap, fragrance free – 0.45 fl oz (foil sample), value: $0.28

I love this dish soap! It’s made with plant-based ingredients (free of phthalates, parabens, SLS, dyes, and SLES) and uses baking soda to combat odors. This means I absolutely don’t have to worry about what might be soaking into sippy cups, bottles, pacifiers, or breast pump parts! This is just a sample but I am really interested in buying a full-size bottle of this.

Eco Lips POGO Split Banana Lip Balm – value: $3.99

This organic lip balm is a funky little shape, but easy to apply. The formula is also moisturizing and smooth. The container it’s in is made out of 100% post-consumer recycled content, too! It has organic coconut and hemp oil, vitamin E, and is also cruelty- and gluten-free. The only downside for me is the smell – which is like Banana. I personally don’t like bananas so I’m not a fan, but I’m sure there are plenty of people out there who would like the scent!

The Amazing Reusable Antibacterial Cloth – value: $2.99

This is a really interesting item! It’s a reusable cloth that is naturally antibacterial thanks to the fact that silver particles are woven into the fabric. It deactivates mildew, bacteria, and odors. This seems really handy and definitely can cut down on the use of cleaning products I use and paper towels I go through.

The Cookie Department Snap Back Ginger Detox Cookie “Break Size” – 1.5 oz, value: $2.41

I love gingersnap cookies, and this one is made with ingredients that are natural detoxifiers like cayenne, black strap molasses, and ginger. It’s supposed to support heart health and contains no GMOs, no artificial ingredients, and it’s made in the USA with locally-sourced ingredients. I like that this cookie is supposed to do some good things for me, but the ingredient label reveals it’s still just a cookie, and I unfortunately can’t just live off these for a week and expect to “detox” (bummer!). I’ll take whatever excuses I can get to justify having an extra cookie, though!

HyperBiotics PRO-Moms Probiotics – 30 count, value: $23

What sets these apart is the fact that they’re time-release tablets made to dissolve in 8-10 hours so they bypass your stomach and the probiotics are delivered straight to your gut where they’re needed! They are vegetarian, lactose- and gluten-free, and natural. These are meant to specifically help nursing and pregnant women but probiotics are good to take anytime, too, to help you feel good and stay healthier.

Elle Jewels Simple Suede Bracelet – value: $17.95

This bracelet is a very pretty, simple piece with a suede band and a silver baby foot pendant. It’s so cute and pretty but my favorite part is that they included a promotion for a FREE extra pendant! You can pick another baby foot, a hamsa hand, a baby pin, an elephant, or an initial (let them know what letter when you order the promo).  This bracelet is actually made to wrap around twice, fyi.

NOTE: their shop says they’re having technical difficulties with the promo listing so read the description of the promo listing about how to pick and get your pendant.

Making Friends! Just Like Us Book – value: $7.99

This book is cute – it shows different animals making friends and doing things just like we do. Little cute stuff like holding hands or cuddling. It has interactive flaps so you can reveal the babies doing the actions. (pictures of the inside in a later pic).

Here’s a picture of the suede bracelet on. I love it! The grey is a beautiful shade and will go well with pretty much anything I wear. I contacted the shop owners to get an initial “g” for Gideon, my son. They responded promptly and said they’d ship it to me ASAP! I really love that they included a free personalized gift with this box.

Here’s a look inside the book. I think it’s cute and my son is loving learning different animals and animal noises so it’s been a fun read.

Verdict: I think this was a fantastic Ecocentric Mom box! I love so many of the products, but especially the bracelet and the fact that they worked it out for subscribers to get FREE personalized charms to add to theirs! This month’s box has a total value of $110 which is an incredible value. I always find new items I love from this box, and I also appreciate being able to trust the ingredients will be green/organic/healthy with anything I discover through them!

I have to say that it makes me crazy that an entire children’s book has the wrong pronoun! It’s, “just like we do,” not, “just like us.” Geesh! How does that get through editing? It’s the title of the book! Rant over. I’m sure it doesn’t bother anyone else.

I think they mean the friends are like them, as in similar.
