VogueTote is a designer jewelry and handbag rental service that lets you try, rent, wear, return and repeat. If you love something they send, you can rent it for as long as you want or purchase it at a discount. If it's not for you, simply send it back with a prepaid label.

They have a style quiz that helps them pick out pieces that suit your taste. VogueTote offers 3 plans: Unlimited Jewelry, Jewelry and Handbags every other month, and Unlimited Jewelry and Handbags.

This is a review of the Unlimited Jewelry and Handbags plan.

My first box came with clear instructions on how long I can keep each piece, how to return what I don't know, and how to purchase anything I can't part with.

The box also came with a list of the products included with their retail value and the discounted price to purchase.

I also learned that VogueTote offers a VIP Club for members who have been with VogueTote for 3 months or more.

I received a leather bag, a necklace, and a ring in my first VogueTote.

Giani Bernini Pebble Leather Crossbody Bag in Red - Retail $149.50, Price to buy $118

This crossbody bag has shiny gold hardware and soft, pebbled leather. It has magnetic closures and lots of compartment, including a phone pocket that fits my iPhone 6s Plus perfectly! The crossbody strap is adjustable and detachable so you can carry this bag as a clutch. The leather quality is very nice for a bag priced under $200. I linked above to the bag in blue, which is on sale at Macy's.

The back of the bag has two pockets.

Today was rainy day suited for a giant kimono sleeve sweater. The bag is a really nice size!

Wanderlust & Co Palm Gold Necklace - Retail Value $29, Price to buy $23

Both jewelry pieces were packaged inside velvet bags which was a nice touch. This is a simple necklace with a fun twist - the silver palm tree trunk is attached with a little loop so it swings! The brass and silver on the tree charm have a brushed finish. It measures 17 inches end to end.

You can see on the back of the charm how the trunk is connected so that it can swing.

Here is the necklace on, it's a shorter length with a delicate chain.

Wanderlust & Co. V-Point Gold Ring - Retail Value $39, Price to buy $31

I was excited that my VogueTote included a ring. I wish the V part was smaller as this was a little awkward to wear and didn't do my finger any favors. The V wasn't flush with my finger and I know I'd probably injure myself with this by accident. I liked the brushed brass finish and that it can be worn with the point facing up or down.

Here is the ring on my ring finger.

Verdict: I liked my first VogueTote! The overall retail value was $217.50 but I did notice that many of the pieces are currently available elsewhere online at a bigger discount. The quality of the leather bag impressed me and the jewelry was modern and simple. The ring was a miss for me but I enjoyed being able to rent the other pieces. This box also introduced me to the Wanderlust Co. brand which has quite a few pieces I'm tempted to pick up. Overall, this was a good box and I'm excited to see what shows up next month.

Cool subscription – price isn’t bad. If I was still in college, I feel like I would have enjoyed this. But I’m a purse snob now lol

Correction, the rental price for a month is good. I wouldn’t purchase anything at those prices.

Love the idea of this but only 20% off for a used item is not nearly enough of a discount. Anyone else agree? Like you pointed out, the items are available new for less elsewhere online!

I checked their site and they have premium designers like Kate Spade and Michael Kors! Thats really unique! Definitely worth a try!
