It’s taken me this long to realize the background of the info sheet is the same pattern as the fabric they wrap the candle in! Cool touch.
Go Raw Lemon Pie Sprouted Cookies – value: $1
Every Vellabox has a bonus gift. This month’s was a pouch of these lemon sprouted cookies. They are made via drying and not heat, so more nutrients are preserved. They’re also non-gmo, nut-free, gluten-free, and vegan. I tried these, but I just don’t care for lemon-flavored things (unless it’s cake!).
1502 Candle Co. Red Currant & Rose Travel Tin – 3 oz?, value: $8?
This candle is light and floral (rose petals and jasmine, with red currant). It’s really nice, and I love tin candles.
Pure Plant Home Italian Bergamot and Persian Lime – 7 oz, value: $22
This scent is spectacular! I’ll be burning this for the rest of summer. It smells so fresh and uplifting.

Verdict: My July VellaBox was a hit! The value adds up to $30, which breaks even with the cost of the box. I do think curation/discovery plays into the value for this sub, so keep that in mind. Also, the fact that you’d have to pay shipping to get the candles straight from the manufacturers helps even out the value in some way, too, I think. All in all, I’m happy.
