Wine2Go – $12.99

This is an amazing and useful product! I love wine and all things related to wine, this will be used often. It’s foldable, holds a bottle of wine and BPA free.

I found it easy to pour wine into the foldable wine bottle.

Coral & Shell Drink Covers – $6.79

This is perfect for a picnic or sitting out on your porch with your favorite cocktail in hand. It covers your glass as to not get bugs inside. Even though the package says it seals tightly, the cover loosely fit over my glass. It seemed to work when I adjusted it a bit. The cover made a suction and slightly sunk in on top of the glass.

deVine Sangria Chapstick – $4.00

This lip balm has SPF 15 is paraben and gluten free with red wine antioxidants. I have a few lip balms already opened and I will put this in my stash to use when I run out.

Sun and Sand Dish Towel (24″ x 15″) – $9.20

This cotton/polyester blend dish towel includes the caption: “The Sun And Sand And Drink In My Hand”. This towel is sturdy and durable.

Wine-A-Rita Strawberry Mango Frozen Drink Mix -6oz – Value $6.00

I received this frozen drink mix and only needed to add wine and ice cubes!

I poured the frozen drink mix and white wine into the blender (I chose Pinot Grigio for the white wine) and mixed well.

I added ice to the blended frozen drink mix and white wine, and mixed till smooth.

This was delicious, sweet and perfect for the hot California weather I have been enduring. This frozen drink was easy to make and white wine, rum, or vodka can be used with the mix. If you prefer to go non-alcoholic, substitute with ginger ale.

Also photographed in the group image is a Milk Chocolate Brix bite to pair with the wine.

Verdict: The August Uncorked Box has a retail value of $38.98, just barely covering the cost of the box. Since this is a specialty subscription box and geared towards wine-related items, I would like to see a hero item in the box and or higher value products. This is Amanda’s second box and I’m loving the theme and the items included for August. I look forward to future boxes. Cheers!

  1. This was my first box definitely has potential

    • Yes, it does.

  2. Oooo definitely going to follow this one 🙂 With the value being right at the cost it makes more sense to just buy the items that you like and would use.
