This month included a POP from Star Trek: Beyond – I got Spock! They also randomly included a second POP into some lucky boxes.

The Collector's Case August 2016 - 5

They also include a POP Box Protector in the box – this was a first for me! It’s hard/flexible plastic that protects your box – it’s prefect for collectors who display their POPs in the box.

They also randomly inserted a Brent Spiner autographed 8×10 – I got one! This is from Star Trek Nemesis and was signed at Vancouver Fan Expo!

Civil War 10″ Bleacher Creature – Value $20 on Amazon

The next item in the box was a 10″ Bleacher Creature from Captain America Civil War. You received one of a possible three characters – Cap, Black Widow, and Black Panther – I got Cap.

The nice part about these Bleacher Creatures is that they stand on their own. This is the first time receiving this type of plus – it’s much better than the other style of Bleacher Creature.

Star Trek Trading Cards – Value $1.50-2 for 3 packs

The final items in the box were 3 packs of Star Trek SkyBox cards.

The Collector's Case August 2016 - 17

Here are all the cards from the 3 packs! I like the graphic design of the cards. i’m not a big card person, but I was a kid – cracking open each pack kind of brought me back! There was even a familiar smell to the new cards in the pack!

Verdict: This was my first shipment from The Collector’s Case. I thought it was a fun box – and the value was definitely there! It reminds me of The Bam Box, but with POPs – so it’s more in my wheelhouse when it comes to my collecting niche. This box definitely has me excited to see what comes next – so stay tuned for more reviews!

  1. My Brent Spiner autograph did not come with a CoA. Thanks for confirming that it should have. I’ll have to contact them and see if I can get one.

  2. Yay, you got Chica! She’s my favorite. <3 🙂
