Sarah’s Sweet Scrubs Aloe After Sun Organic Lotion Bar – Value $13

This lotion bar is lovely! The scent is light and floral, and the formula is rich – it was super moisturizing! (I pretty much love all things with shea butter!)

Ellison’s Organics Nail Lacquer in Island Sunset – Value $12

This nail polish has a matte finish and a cotton candy pink color. Here it is on:

I like that the formula is 5-free. Unfortunately for me, it started chipping by day 2. When I wear it again, I’ll need to make sure to use a great topcoat and basecoat.

Skin Fix Body Scrub in Margarita Sour – Value $13

Hands down, my favorite item in the box – and one of my top favorites for July!

This margarita sour blend has the perfect amount of lime – it’s so refreshing! And the formula left my skin moisturized but not overly oily.

Parlo Cosmetics Bahama Mama Lip Polish – Value $6

I’m loving the tropical theme this month! The lip gloss provides a good amount of shine, shimmer, and pigment, but unfortunately for me, orange lip products don’t work for my coloring. Here it is swatched:

Verdict: This box has a value of about $47. That’s good for a $32.95 natural beauty box that works with smaller brands and etsy makers. I think this box is great for discovering natural beauty brands that aren’t too pricey – I’m really impressed with the full-sized prices of these items.

While every item in the box wasn’t for me this month, the scrub is a standout favorite, and the lotion bar is fab, too.

What do you think of the July Terra Bella Box? What was your favorite item?

  1. A little too pricey for me, but that margarita scrub looks divine!

  2. I just signed up for this box and was promised I would recieve the July box as my first one as I wanted that Sara after sun bar…well my box arrived yesterday and I have never been so dissapointed in a sub in my life. I got some god awful bug repellent..a lip scrub that was completely dried out inside and a very…very sweet smelling face cream…it reminded me of vanilla frosting on a Bday cake…yuck I threw the whole box away! I hope my next box is better if not I will cancel!

    • That sounds disappointing! I would reach out to them and tell them you were told you’d get the July box and didn’t…they are very nice and have been very responsive when I’ve been in touch with them. Also…in the past they’ve offered a “pick your own box” option where you got to pick your choice of 2 items from one (higher price) list, and another 2 items from a different (lower pricepoint) list. I don’t see it on their website now but you might ask them if that’s an option. I don’t have an actual subscription, but have purchased a number of their “pick your own” boxes, which I’ve loved!
