  1. A lot of repeats. Not interesting to me. What’s going on, Birchbox? 🙁

  2. Considering how old a lot of these items are it’s clear they are clearing stock out and that seems like a bad sign to me. Idk. I left after July’s box and cashed points out. Wonder how many customers they ended up losing overall and if they’re well and messed up business wise now.

  3. I don’t understand the advantage of doing this? Most of these items have a minimal discount (most don’t have any) so why would you bother to add items on? Is it just so you can combine the shipping with your Birchbox sub?

When they first started the “add-on” program it was 2-3 “exclusive” (not available in the BB online store) lifestyle items for a discount. Seems kind of silly now.

    • I agree! What happened to the few exclusive items that you could choose from? The “add-ons” they offer now are really not worth picking, or even looking at. I’m close to cancelling this sub. Waiting to see what the sample choices actually are, and if the spoiler showed the “curated box” then I’m definitely NOT getting that one.

    • I agree with you completely – would rather have the different/separate few items per month – but yes, I think the plus is that if you’re not an Ace, you can get them shipped with your box for free instead of paying shipping.

  4. Can you use points for add ons? I’ve been a subscriber for years and don’t know this lol…I guess I’ve never added something on.

    • I don’t think so, no.

      • Thank you Krista, I didn’t think so either. I’m just trying to use up $11 of points on one account and cancel it before it renews.
