Scentbird sends out authentic perfume each month in smaller vials for you to try them out, or switch up your scent more often.

When you sign up, you fill out a survey to determine your scent preferences, and they recommend specific scents for you to try out. You add perfumes to your queue when you find one that you want to try which is how they choose what to send each month. If you don't choose one by the cut off date, they will send you the scent of the month. Next month it is Nest Dahlia and Vines.

Scentbird includes a twist up perfume atomizer with your first shipment. You can order additional atomizers on their website for an additional fee.

When you subscribe to Scentbird, you'll get a $15.00 "credit" each month to buy a full sized bottle of cologne - this doesn't look like it is cumulative, and seems more like a member's discount.

Scentbird has also introduced a new a la carte service. You can choose any cologne you want, with each spray being just $16.95 plus shipping (shipping is free if you order 3 or more sprays). The cases are sold separately.

This month, my next perfume in the line up was Flowerbomb by Viktor and Rolf. The scent is described as a "...floral explosion releases a profusion of flowers that has the power to make everything seem more positive. Magically evocative notes immediately awaken your deepest senses, giving you the impression of living life in your own secret garden, away from reality. Sambac jasmine, centifolia rose, cattleya orchid, and ballerina freesia bloom on a base of patchouli."

I have seen this one around for a while, and just never smelled it. I like the scent - it is very light and fresh, but sweet at the same time. It doesn't seem to last a very long time, but while I can still smell it, it smells delicious!

On a side note - does anyone else have issues getting their vial into the atomizer lately? I have to pretty much force it in, and then it is super difficult to get out!

Verdict: The value of my perfume this month comes out to about $5.10 $23 (based on Sephora's 10ml travel size for $29). This subscription is really dependent on which perfume you choose when it comes to value. I'm always happiest when I chose scents that I love versus scents that are expensive. I fell in love with my scent this month, so it was just a bonus that I got a higher value perfume!

I love the size of these vials because they're perfect for travel or just to throw in your gym bag for a quick spritz when you need it. They're also cheaper than rollerballs, and I prefer spritzes anyway!

Have you tried Scentbird yet? What scent did you get this month?

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane...the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane...but she's always looking for a new subscription to try!

Hi all! There was a mix up in the value of the perfume, but I’m pretty sure it’s fixed now. It should have been $23. This was a good month!

I’m glad I’m not the only one having issues with the vials – I think it might be the sticker on the bottles making it a bit more difficult to fit in the case!

Major review issues, I subscribe and its 8mL not .8!!! This makes the value over $18 not under $5!

This is seriously my favorite to get every month other than popsugar and Beautyfix. But I change my perfume so much depending on mood.

I’ve had scentbird for nearly a year and never had an issue with a bottle once, I have four of the holders and no issues with those either. Shrug. They’re one of my favorite subscriptions.

I had an issue with my vial last month, where it got stuck in the atomizer. A quick email to customer service resulted in them sending a free replacement atomizer though, so that’s an option if your vials get too stuck to remove!

Yes!! Thought it was me!! Some of the vials don’t fit!?!? I’m puzzled..I have had many in the past that do but more recent ones are impossible. What’s going on?

Flowerbomb is my go to and my very favorite perfume for the last few years. It does last! I can spray some on a sweater and take it off and a week later it still smells amazing. I don’t get the $5 value when my last bottle was $140. So I’m confused on that.

I would love this sub but can’t justify the cost. Sephora charges $115 for 50ml, so $2.30/ml. That makes this sample worth $4.14. $15 for one little sample seems too high to me, but I’m sure the fun and value are in the opportunity to try new fragrances every month!

The vials they send are 8mL, I’m holding one now and have had the sub for 11 months I believe. I got three of the Hermes scents before they stopped carrying them and three of the Juliette Has A Gun scents among others, and the cost is so worth it. They estimate a vial lasting a month, it would last longer. I use perfume and touch up a lot, but change by my mood so go back and forth among them and popping my favorite into my purse.

The value of the Flowerbomb would be over $18 through scentbird.

I think there might be a typo in the review. The vials that Scentbird sends are 8ml.

I don’t get this right now because I have too much perfume, but I could never work the atomizers at all so I just don’t use them.

I think you and I have very different tastes in fragrance — something called “Flowerbomb” would have me running in the opposite direction…

I have flowerbomb but ironically dislike that type of scent. I like woodsy scents and strong spicy scents…lately I’ve been getting into gourmand scents and more classic rose scents despite my usual hate for florals. I got a yummy oud from scentbird a few months ago.

This is a very nice review, but you have the value listed as $5.10. Is that right? (It just seems so low for a $15 subscription.)

I noticed that too. I had to put a rag over it, take the top off, and pull it out with my teeth. That was the only way I could get it out.

I received the NEST Dahlia & Vines this month along with Burberry Body. I am one very happy girl!! Both are gorgeous scents. Light floral. I feel so pretty wearing both of them. MSA has turned me into a fragrance junkie. Its is all your fault!!

Scentbird is one of my fav “gifts” I give myself every month. Its a cheap thrill as a cheaper way for me to try and get my fav perfumes. I have come to trust Scentbird’s recommendations for me. I have yet to receive a vial I don’t like. I didn’t know they existed until I joined MSA. After the first month I pre-paid for a year; that’s how great I believe the value and return on investment is for this program. I highly recommend it.
