  1. Were there any spoilers for this month? The June guaranteed item was the Kimono, and the July guaranteed item was the speaker. I haven’t seen one for August, though, unless I missed it.

    • Nope. It’s August 18 and I’m pretty sure there haven’t been any August spoilers. Not even a theme! And yet today they released a spoiler for September! (Mermaid socks — Theme is Cuteness Overload.) I’m really scared for August…

      • I received the August box on Tuesday. I had signed up for the “first month half off” deal, and was already not too happy about being billed for September when I didn’t even have my August one. I told their customer service agent that I wanted to try the subscription and see if I wanted to stay subscribed after seeing the August box. The CSA basically told me “too bad” and wouldn’t do anything about it. Then the next day I received the box. I promptly wrote a nice email and said that after viewing the box, I wished to cancel. I was told that Imwould not be receiving any additional boxes…..now let’s see if the $19.99 is refunded. And as for a hero item spoiler? There wasn’t one because there. Was. No. Hero. Item. Horrible box…..not worth the $10 I paid to try it out.

        • Omg they have really bad customer service. Such a nightmare and I tried to cancel my box that I ordered over a month ago after a week.I ordered with paypal and it would of been like 3 weeks until I got the dam box. I don’t understand why I could not cancel if I have not gotten a box or wouldn’t be for like a month. If there was a charge I would of payed just to nor have to deal ever again. They sent me a email with a tracking number a week ago and it is still not moving. I dont want to have to email and wait over a week for someone reply back and dance around without answering my question in the first place. This box is not worth 20. Ten maybe. Most of the stuff doesnt even have a brand name so you know where they probably get most. My box was supposed to be sent out on the 16th and I am in CT and I have no idea where is my box. Grrrr sorry I feel ya girlfriend…

      • I received my box already and the theme was about friendship. I was pleased with it. A headphone splitter, greeting cards featuring the Golden Girls (so awesome!), a bronzer, a really cute anchor necklace, and a nice solid wood “catchall” box. My box was actually missing the bronzer, but customer service promptly sent a replacement the next morning. It should be here this weekend.

        • Stfne, I am glad you liked the box!!! I got everything you did except the wooden box. I got a really cheap looking photo frame. It looked like everything came from the dollar store. Have to admit though…..the Golden Girls cards were the best thing in the box……lol! That was def my hero item!!!

          • Punkykiki, I think I was typing my comment as you left your response because I didn’t see it until just now. I’m sorry you were disappointed. I know some people get frustrated with the billing/shipping schedule, and I see a lot of comments about how cheap the box feels. It’s certainly not PopSugar or FFF, but I think it’s supposed to be more “fun” than “fancy.” Peaches & Petals is owned by Jammin Butter, the same company that owns That Daily Deal, Mystery Box of Awesome, and 13deals. I do suspect they specialize in selling overstocked or undersold quirky products, which are sometimes cheap, but almost always unusual. That’s one of the things I like about this box – most of the items are unique, stuff I’ve never seen in any other sub, and products I would not have otherwise thought to buy for myself – for example the Golden Girls cards! I also think they stick to their themes better than any other sub, and their customer service has always been prompt and helpful. I’m sorry you had a poor experience when you contacted them. I do hope they refund your payment. Good luck!

  3. I subbed this box twice now and lasted only three months each time. One month would be great and the next two…not so much. I had issues with postage needing to be paid and July’s box was sent back from FedEx and delivered again via UPS. So much hassle for a underwhelming, cheap box. I do have to say that the customer service is great and they reply quickly to concerns. The value just is not there.

      • Yep. Kinda killed this sub for me when I saw all that, especially 13deals. I was wondering if they put a lot of that same stuff in the boxes and inflate the alleged value. Maybe not, but overall it was kinda meh for me, plus shipping just takes way too long for my liking after being charged. YMMV though.

    • I can’t help but feel as if the wizard behind the curtain has been revealed and in the meantime they are watering down their own pricing values.

  6. I saw on Facebook that the August boxes are delayed due to some item not arriving on time. I received a tracking number earlier this week so was hoping my box would be here soon.

    • I received tracking for my box as well and it’s supposed to deliver Saturday. Maybe they are having delayed shipment for a second wave of shipments.

    • I received a tracking number, and my Parcel Track app says that it is expected on August 10, but the Facebook post says that they hope to ship by Monday the 8th.

  7. When I apply the code it just discounts the cost by $.50. Are we sure it includes the free kimono?

    • Yes, you’ll receive the promo. It did the same thing to me when I added my promo last month. If you send them an email they will capture an image of their side of your invoice which will list the promo being applied. Their CS is really easy to deal with and seemed extremely quick to respond during business hours.

    • That’s just how they track who used the code, same thing last month when I used the free hammock code.

  8. Isn’t that the same kimono from the June P&P box?

    • Yes it is. It was in my one and only box I tried of thiers which was June. Interesting. Also not worth $25 IMO; its kinda cute (and I have a pool so it is used) but not something I’d go out of my way for. Not sure how long it will last as its a very thin material.
