PAMPERED MOMMY AUGUST 2016 - INFO

Every box includes an info card that lists all the items featured in the box and their values, as well as a brief description of each.

PAMPERED MOMMY AUGUST 2016 - items 1

Lillian Eve Nail Polish in Bliss – 0.5 fl oz (Full size), value: $12

This nail polish is a pretty pastel plum shade. I was happy to get this brand, too, as it’s one I already know and love! Lillian Eve is 100% vegan, cruelty-free, toxin-free, and 5-free.

Juice Beauty Exfoliating Cleanser – 4 oz, value: $22

Juice Beauty is a nice brand, so getting a full size cleanser to try from them is great. This cleanser is soap-free and exfoliates with pineapple enzymes and dissolving jojoba beads, plus it contains aloe to soothe and moisturize!

PAMPERED MOMMY AUGUST 2016 - items 2

The nail polish formula is nice and creamy, and it goes on super evenly! Their website says the polish takes 2 coats to get to bottle-color, which is great. This picture, though, is just with one coat – it was during Gideon’s nap time so I wanted to get it done fast, plus I actually love the subtly of the color with one coat. I always use a base and a top coat, and I’ve been wearing this polish or three days with minimal chipping, so I’m happy with the performance of the formula, too.

PAMPERED MOMMY AUGUST 2016 - items 3

Relaxation Eye Pillow – value: $15

This is probably the prettiest eye pillow I’ve received in a subscription box. It’s hand-made with muslin, filled with organic flax see and lavender petals, and scented with essential oils.

PAMPERED MOMMY AUGUST 2016 - items 4

Savvy Travelers In the Klear Wipes – 4 pack, value: $4

The info card says these are $6, but I found them on Savvy Traveler’s website for $4 so I just used that value. This brand has little individually wrapped wipes for different things like makeup removing, refreshing after a flight, and even a mouth-refreshing wipe. These are for electronics.

PAMPERED MOMMY AUGUST 2016 - items 5

They worked really well on the face and camera of my phone, but these just seemed like an alcohol wipe to me. They’re handy and I’ll use them!

PAMPERED MOMMY AUGUST 2016 - items 6

Sarah Pinto Postcards – 10 pack, value: $5

These post cards are really cute and designed to be easily customizable! You can write whatever occasion or greeting you want on them. I also think that the three designs on the right would make great organization tools. I’m envisioning them as decorative labels in the front of plastic organizer boxes – what do you think?

Verdict: I liked the August Pampered Mommy box. I think they pick out some great items for Moms or any woman! I like and will use everything in this month’s box, so that’s a win. The value comes out to $68  which I’m happy with!

  1. Loved this box minus the postcards, but happy that you gave a good suggestion.

  2. Love, love your rings (and the polish). Like your idea for the postcards. There usually isn’t enough room on the back to write any kind of message.

  3. I have been getting this box since March and I;ve always been happy with it. I really like your idea about another way of using the postcards!
