All this printed material came with the box. I like they send a card showing you what would come in your box.

Sonic the Hedgehog Drink Cup - $8.55

We’ve never played the game but big cups like this are always welcome in our house!

NERDBLOCKJR_08TOY

Angry Birds Wind Chime – $8.95

Now this game we have played and we like it! These small wind chimes are cute. Five possible options were available.

NERDBLOCKJR_09TOY

Emoji Backpack Clip- $4.99 (on sale for $3.49)

We could have received anxious emoji, tears of joy emoji, winking with tongue stuck out emoji but instead we got this one. How lucky were we? The other emojis have specific uses but not the smiling poop emoji - he can go anywhere! I’m fighting my daughter for this one. Wait, I’m the parent- I’m taking it!

Super Snow - $2.99

Just add water to this powder and you have cool to the touch artificial snow. Watch out Barbies- I think a snow storm is on the way!

The Secret Life of Pets Charm Bracelet Set - $14.99

I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t pay $14.99 for this bracelet as the quality isn’t great but my daughter enjoyed it and that is the main goal anyway.

Owl Magazine Summer Edition - $4.00

This magazine is geared toward 9-13 year olds so it’s a bit advanced for my 6 year old but in general I am happy to get products geared toward reading in boxes for her and there are some fun activities to do in the magazine too!

Verdict: We liked Nerd Block Jr. for Girls but not as much as last month since I don’t think the items were as girl centric this month. We’re excited for next month since there will be “special surprises” from My Little Pony and Shopkins. The value was great this month as we received $42.97 worth of toys for a $20.00 box. We’re happy!

I love this box! I’ve subscribed for my niece for nearly two years now and now that she’s 10, she still loves the items that come each month. I thought the wind chime was adorable and she was excited to have a household decoration of her very own. Can’t wait to try the snow!

My 8 year old daughter loved everything in her box! She used everything! The first thing she did was to hang up her wind chime, wash her cup out and then clip her emoji onto her backpack.

FYI The target age group is 6 to 11! Check their site….

That poop emoji thing is hilarious! Doesn’t even compare to the others ?

Right! We love the poop emoji.

Ugh what a waste! A wind chime? Ridiculous! I did use the snow for my 3 year old and she enjoyed it for a bit. The OWL magazine was read a couple of times and forgotten. Overall, a lame box.

We got exactly the same items. Im not happy that they included a cup for 12+ year olds and a wind chime. Not appropriate for their target age group at all! Next months advertised sneak is currently on clearance for 60% off at toys r us. It may be time to cancel.

This is basically the same as the boys’ box. The windchimes are ridiculous.

The target for this box is 9-13, like the magazine, so I think the cup is fine. In fact, my six year old would have been happy with it. My 9 year old likes it.
