I received my July Box on August 19th, which is unusually late. I didn't receive an email from the company regarding the delay, so I contacted them. They had a box stuck in customs. It would have been nice to notify subscribers, but maybe they did and mine just didn't come through!

Just an FYI - the box ships late in the month and sometimes doesn't arrive until the next month.  I don't mind, because I usually love the contents!

Exclusive Magnetic Market List Pad designed by Moustache Stationery - $5.00?

This pad has quite a large magnet on the back, ensuring that it will stay in place on your fridge for those staples you run out of throughout the week. I have quite a few pads on my fridge currently for the same reason - this will be the perfect replacement when the time comes. I love the design of this pad too!

Sprout Pencils - $7.99

These are really fun! After you use up the pencil, you can plant the stub and watch a plant grow! I received basil, mint, and cilantro (my three favorite herbs to cook with). The only bummer is that they don't have an eraser, but really, I always go through the eraser faster than the pencil anyway, so I always carry a separate eraser.

Macaron Erasers - $4.00?

Speaking of separate erasers - here's a full set to carry with your Sprout pencils. These are really cute macaron shaped erasers. This set of 5 should be able to carry you through a full school year at least!

3 Earthy Greeting Cards - Designed by Moustache Stationery - $6.00?

These greeting cards are another exclusive design for Moustache Stationery. They are blank inside. I really like the art on these - it's modern but still really fun. I have so many greeting cards at this point, I don't think I will ever have to buy any additional cards!

Limited Edition 3-pack of Sweet Tooth Field Notes Notebooks - $9.95

These vibrantly colored notebooks have thick pages and foil stamped covers. They have colored pages throughout the full notebook to add some pop to your field notes. The cover is printed with some helpful information to fill out, and the pages are slightly perforated to ensure a clean cut if you need to remove a page.

Pineapple Sticky Notes - $3.00?

These pineapple sticky notes are extra large, and sticky on the bottom instead of the top (nice way to mix it up!) They are another exclusive for the box. These are a fun way to keep summer at the top of your mind as we get ready to move into fall (I cannot even believe that we are at the end of August!).

Verdict: I always really enjoy my Moustache Stationery boxes, and this one is no different. I think they vary the stationery that they send enough each month to keep things interesting and new each month. I was bummed that I didn't get my July box until the end of August, and I hope that this doesn't become a pattern. I do understand boxes getting in customs every now and again though, so I won't hold it against them! The approximate value of this box is $35.94, but that is with a lot of estimated values. I think this box was worth the $40.00 it costs each month, but that is always subjective when you don't know the exact value of the items in the box.

Have you tried Moustache Stationery yet?

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane...the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane...but she's always looking for a new subscription to try!

Honestly, I’m not impressed. This looks like stuff I’ve seen at the dollar store other than the journal. No stars here.

I received this too, and contacted them a lot about it being late. The woman I spoke with was very communicative and helpful, but she said there was an email sent out about it being late; I never received this either. However, considering other stationary sub companies, looking at you Maker Monthly, that have completely stopped responding to CS altogether or sending boxes, this is a good box.
