MeUndies offers an underwear subscription service for men and women. Pick the style of underwear you want, and get a new pair (or pairs!) every month, featuring limited edition designs.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

The Subscription Box: MeUndies

The Cost: When you subscribe, women’s styles are $14/month and men’s styles are $16/month. This is $4 - $8 cheaper than retail, depending on style.

The Products: MeUndies offers underwear subscriptions for both men and women, in a variety of styles. All styles feature their signature MicroModal® and elastane blend, and sturdy, flexible waistband. Subscribers get exclusive new prints, released each month.

Ships to: Worldwide. Shipping is free to the US and Canada, and there is a $12 flat rate internationally.

Good to know: The first pair of your subscription is full price, and the discount kicks in with future months. Your first pair of MeUndies is backed by a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, so if you have an issue with fit, quality, or anything else, they’ve got your back.

Check out the Women's Underwear Subscription Box Directory and make sure to add MeUndies to your subscription list or wishlist!

I’ll just come out and say it: I’m pretty boring when it comes to my underwear choices. I’ve been wearing basic black and nude cotton underwear from Gap for pretty much my whole adult life. If it’s got lace or velvet or (heaven forbid) rhinestones, you won’t find it in my underwear drawer.

So when I saw MeUndies’ subscription service, I knew I had to give it a try. I was skeptical of the higher price point, but the patterns are totally my style and I loved the idea of getting a new pair every month and avoiding that moment in time where I inevitably realize I’ve been wearing the same 10 pairs of underwear for like five years and they’re all totally falling apart.

Women’s Bikini in South Beach (July’s design of the month) - $14 when you subscribe, regularly $18

Women’s Boyshort in True Blue - $14 when you subscribe, regularly $16

I ordered two styles: the Bikini and the Boyshort. I saw some comments on their Facebook page that the Bikini was not full coverage, so I wanted to try a different style too (and thought the Boyshort might be great for wearing to sleep on hot summer nights). The Bikini actually wasn’t as revealing as I thought from the comments, and they were completely comfortable and didn’t ride up at all like other ‘cheeky’ styles I’ve tried, so they’re a keeper. Yay!

MeUndies features fun designs every month for subscribers that become available for regular purchase later. My Bikini’s were July’s design of the month, South Beach, and I really like the print! I can definitely see that some of the monthly prints are not for everyone, but I personally like the bright colors and think the patterns are a nice change from what I normally see in stores.

I ordered both the Bikini and Boyshort in a size Medium, my normal size, but the Boyshorts were a little snug on me. I e-mailed MeUndies and asked about an exchange for a larger size. Thanks to their 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, they sent me a new pair, no questions asked! I haven’t gotten them yet but I think these are going to be a winner as well.

The fabric really exceeded my expectations but it’s impossible to photograph - it’s super lightweight and stretchy and has a cool, silky feel. I’ve been wearing a similar non-cotton fabric blend recently, the Breathe collection from Gap, and the MeUndies are noticeably cooler in this hot weather.

Not only was the customer service great, their online tools make it easy to manage your subscription, allowing you to skip a month, update your style (so you can alternate between Bikini and Boyshort, for example), select a new size, add another subscription, or even cancel. This is always important to me with any subscription, especially for ‘essentials’ like this.

Verdict: At $14 per pair per month, MeUndies women’s underwear are definitely pricier than buying a basic 6-pack of cotton underwear elsewhere. However, the subscription prices are similar to other brands I’ve tried, and these actually live up to their reputation as “the world’s most comfortable underwear”. I love the idea of getting matching “his and hers” pairs as a Valentine’s Day or anniversary gift -- and I really love that their online tool lets you add more products to your subscription easily, so I could totally add a men’s pair to my subscription for just a month or two if I wanted to!

There are two things that I hope MeUndies will think about changing: First, it’s a little frustrating that you need to buy a pair at full price in order to get into the subscription, and I wish they’d at least offset that with an additional freebie or a deeper discount on your second month to offset your first purchase. Second, I do wish I could preview the monthly pattern and skip or opt for a basic black pair instead if I didn’t like it. UPDATE: You can preview the monthly pattern and skip that month; I didn't know that since this was my first month. Thanks Annie!

What do you think of MeUndies? What was your favorite pattern?

How did you find the sizing compared to the gap?

I found it to be comparable to Gap! I usually wear a Medium in both brands, but I sometimes size up to L if I want something to be less snug (which was the case for the MeUndies boyshort)

You absolutely CAN preview the pattern and skip a month if you want! I always log in and check out the pattern before deciding if I want that month. If I don’t like it I just push my ship date back a month.

My partner and I have been subscribing to MeUndies for a little over a year now and we both LOVE them. They hold up really well, they’re super comfy, and they’re fantastic quality. One thing I recommend though is because they’re made of modal, they retain their quality better if you air dry rather than put them in the dryer.

These aren’t really my style but I’m tempted to subscribe because it’s one of the first times ever where the male version of a product or service is actually more expensive than the one for women…woohoooo! Take that, dry cleaner!! Pay attention, hair stylist!!!

There is justice in underwear!!!!
