LuxePineapple is a female-owned beauty company based in Austin, Texas. Their goal is to source the best in skincare and cosmetics while offering them at great prices. They also have their own brand of cosmetics! The subscription service, LuxePineapple Post, sends you 4 or more beauty and lifestyle items from anything in the makeup, skincare, hair care, beauty accessory, jewelry, clothing accessory categories and more. I've also noticed that they feature many small and/or women-owned businesses.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Elegant Rose Boutique Shampoo Bar in Peppermint Eucalyptus - $6

Subscribers get either Heavenly Hair or Peppermint Eucalyptus. It smells very minty fresh and lathers well. Since this was my first ever shampoo bar it was a bit challenging to use (do I lather my hands first? Rub the whole thing on my hair?) My locks and scalp felt just as clean as using regular shampoo, but I disliked the high-friction "squeaky clean" feeling after rinsing. I will continue to use this bar but only on my body.

FORNASH Kaleidoscope Bracelet - $25

This hinge bracelet is made of weighty, sturdy metal. It's so classy! I think there are different color variations. Mine has beautiful green and blue enamel, but since I rarely wear bracelets I will pass this on to someone else.

Kroma Mineral Blush (pan only) - $18.90

Kroma Makeup blushes are talc-free and gluten-free (I didn't know eyeshadows could contain gluten!). I received the shade Ideal, which looks like a coral or dusty rose. It's a matte finish and can be highly pigmented if I'm not careful with my application. The color suits my skin tone very well!

Manna Kadar Cosmetics Highlighter & Bronzer Duo - $21

This split pan highlighter and bronzer duo has a twist-off lid and can be used for a variety of looks. They feel buttery soft and apply brilliantly. Both shades have a satiny glow that really brightens my face without being overwhelming. I like using both shades as eyeshadows too!

6 Pan Magnetic Palette - $10

This is my very first customizable magnetic palette and it complements the Kroma Mineral Blush. It can hold six 36mm or smaller pans. The silver pans are placeholders and are easy to remove-- just hold the palette upside down and give it a gentle tap.

LuxePineapple-Post-July-2016-4a

Here's the result! I inserted the Manna Kadar duo and Kroma Mineral Blush into the leftmost pans. The rest are miscellaneous samples that I put together for a make-your-own contouring palette! The hardest part is removing pans from their original holders. I struggled with a couple, as you can tell from the dents and crumbly bits.

Verdict: This month's box was very fun to open. I wasn't the biggest fan of the shampoo bar but I loved everything else, especially the utility of the magnetic palette. Total retail value is $80.90, which is more than three times the cost of subscription. I continue to be extremely impressed with the quality and value I get from LuxePineapple Post. I also like that they're introducing me to so many small or women-owned businesses!

I got the Kroma blush and the Mannakadar duo in my mystery Luxe Pineapple box. The values you have stated are closer to full-size price but they are not actually full-size. The full-size of the Kroma blush is 1.5 oz. The size of the sample given by Luxe Pineapple is .15 oz. Since the full-size is $21, the value of the sample Luxe Pineapple gave would be about $2.10, not the $18.90 value you stated. Also, the Mannakadar duo does not seem like it is full-size either. The depth of the duo is similar to the depth of the Kroma blush. That means it is approximately also .15 oz. So I don’t think the Mannakadar is worth $21. Though it is difficult to say since I can’t find sizes for the full-size and or the exact size for the sample. I can only approximate the size of the sample.

Hi DC, I looked at the Kroma website and it does say 1.5 oz but I’m almost certain that’s a typo on Kroma’s part. 1.5 ounces (44 ml) is incredibly big for a blush– that’s probably enough for wholesale, even. For comparison, many mid-tier foundations are only 1oz each. I think the blush is listed at $18.90 because it doesn’t come with an outer case. The Manna Kadar duo has been featured in multiple beauty boxes of late and they’re valued at $21 as well. I’m pretty sure this LuxePineapple one is the same size as the others.

I think the bracelet looks great with your skin tone and highlights your dainty wrist. Would love to see you keep that and wear it with a cute maxi dress or jeans.

Omg that highlighter makeup has been in like 6 or 7 beauty or lifestyle boxes. White Willow, Luxe Pineapple, Serendipity LLB, Beauty Box 5, Pamper Mom? I think it was in the natural beauty box that starts with a B and I can’t think of the name. Really the company must be handing them out for free… Not saying anything bad about it but many people get all these subscriptions and to get that sample item in the same month or month before is crazy.

This is the best box I have seen from them. I got one of their mystery boxes once and it was awful, which made me choose not to sub. The last few months they have included a nice jewelry item and some way better brands. I would have been really happy with this box.

I subscribed as a new customer using the coupon code PASTFAVES. A penny was deducted from my total….any idea if that means the code worked to get a free box?

Yes, same thing happened to me and I did get the free box with my first monthly box.

Love the bracelet, pretty colors.

I took the foam board off my plaette to make more room. It’s supposed to be magnetic and it is but just not as strong as other pallets so shouldn’t be tossed around too much

I got the orange and blue one – Wish I got the green and blue combo instead! This is one of my newest favorite sub boxes!
