This month’s theme is “Be Bold.”
Indigo Beaux Herbal Pillow – Value $30
This is made exclusively for the box! It’s a blend of Rose, Lavender, and Chamomile. Interestingly enough, I can’t really place the lavender or rose scent, but the blend is very relaxing.
And it comes with an info sheet on how to heat and cool the pillow:
I like that even when you aren’t using the pillow for relaxing, it’s great to put in the linen closet or a drawer to make clothes/towels/etc. smell lovely!
Gold Label Lipstick in Private Jet – Value $14
I love the gold packaging on this lipstick, and the formula is pretty great, too! It goes on somewhat sheer so you can control how much pigment you want. Here it is swatched (2 swipes):
The berry color is very flattering, too.
Beekman 1802 Hand Cream in Fresh Cream – Value $22
This packaging! So fab!
I love the reusable wooden case this comes in, plus the goat print on the actual lotion is amazing:
This hand creme is actually lighter than I expected! It absorbed almost instantly, and it has a light, powdery scent.
ABHA Sweet Peony Essential Oils Candle – Value $16
I can’t find this candle for sale anywhere online, so, unfortunately, I don’t know what type of wax it is made with. This is one of those candles that gives a floral scent even without lighting it, so I think it will be perfect for our powder room.
It’s Skin Syn-Ake Formula 10 – Value $23
This serum is supposed to be similar to snake venom! The formula is designed to firm and improve skin texture and appearance. I noticed it has a slight fragrance, which I didn’t love, but it didn’t bother me either. The serum absorbed almost instantly and left my skin with an almost powder like finish – so smooth!
Verdict: This box has a value of about $105. I’m impressed with the debut Indigo Beaux box, and I’m excited to see what will be in future boxes. I think the value is good for the July box, but it definitely is a higher price point, so I’d file it under the “Treat Yo’ Self” category of subscription boxes!
