On the inside of the card was some details about each item and their retail values. Another cool thing is that they mark every item that is also vegan.
MakeUp Eraser Mini – value: $12
I received one of these in my June Pampered Mommy box, and I’m thrilled to have a second! This is a 100% polyester cloth that removes all your makeup with just water. Seriously – I don’t know how it does it. Even eyeliner and mascara! Wash it before using, and then wash it every couple days (I have just been tossing mine in with each load of laundry a couple times a week).
Plain Jane Beauty Concealer Stick, Moonstone – value: $13.95
This is my favorite new discovery! I’m thrilled with this concealer stick. When I saw it was a complexion-colored product I huffed a bit because I’m so pale that things like concealers and foundations in boxes never work for me. But this one does! And, the coverage is spectacular. I like my Too Faced concealer for under my eyes but when it comes to covering blemishes, this little number blows it out of the water. Plus, this one is anti-aging, has cocoa butter, reduce appearance of fine lines, or any weird, unnatural chemicals that can cause more harm than good.
I’ve been using this concealer every day since I opened this box, and I plan to purchase when I run out – which says a lot, because I have such a huge stash of cosmetics I rarely actually seek to go purchase any in particular.
FACE Atelier Lip Glaze Petite, in Cameo - 0.25 oz, value: $17
This lip gloss is a really pretty, perfect nude for me. It also looked a lot darker in the tube than it applied on my lips. This shade is probably the closest to my true natural lip color I’ve ever tried.
Earth’s Beauty Shea and Aloe Lipstick, in Summer Quartz – value: $15.95
This lipstick is very light and easy to wear. The color is quite sheer (and somewhat buildable) and it has some subtle shimmer so it will work on lots of different skin tones.
The lip gloss is swatched on top, and the lipstick is on the bottom.
Medusa’s MakeUp Electro Eyeshadow, electro-white – value: $8
This is definitely a glittery eyeshadow! White I such an underrated eyeshadow shade. I love having it for playing with the intensity of my shadows, but my favorite way to use it is in the inner corners of my eyes and swiped up on my brow bone. FYI – subscribers received either white or purple shadow.
Mirabella Mineral Highlighter, “Glowing Coral” – value: $40
Unfortunately my highlighter came a little damaged. Fortunately, the powder itself seems to be mostly in tact – it looks like it just popped out of the compact and got a little jostled. That’s okay, though; it’s still usable. Applied, this just looks light and glowy. The color isn’t as intense as it is in the pan at all.
The highlighter is swatched on top, the eyeshadow is on the bottom.
Here I am wearing the concealer (under eyes, and spot conceal), the Mirabella highlighter, the eyeshadow (in the corners of my eyes), and the lip gloss (on the left), and the lipstick (on the right). You can see both lip products this month are very natural colors. I like them both!
Verdict: Benevolent Beauty Box has quickly become one of my top beauty boxes! The quality and colors of items they send out are always fantastic. Plus, the value has been amazing every time – this month adds up to $106.90 which is fantastic and what I’m used to for this sub. I found some great new products (I’m especially thrilled with the concealer) and know I will use every item.
