A LITTLE BUNDLE AUGUST 2016 - BOX

A Little Bundle

A Little Bundle is a monthly subscription box designed for moms and babies. Their main focus is the quality of the products selected each month:

Here are the five main criteria we follow in choosing the bundle products:
1. non-toxic (of course!)
2. natural and organic preferred (this does not necessarily mean every item we choose is natural and organic.)
3. attention to detail during construction from the start to finish
4. proven to be efficient and functional
5. made with love and care

A LITTLE BUNDLE AUGUST 2016 - items 1

Wee Gallery Safari: A Slide and Play Book – value: $9.95

This book is adorable, high contrast, and has little sliding pieces that you can move to reveal four different safari animals.

A LITTLE BUNDLE AUGUST 2016 - items 2

Here’s a peek at a couple pages. I think it’s  a cute book!

A LITTLE BUNDLE AUGUST 2016 - items 3

Peach Watermelon Standard Baggu Bag – value: $9

I love Baggu bags! They’re one of my favorite things to get in subscription boxes – I love adding to my stash. And? This watermelon print is way too adorable! So summery. I love it.

A LITTLE BUNDLE AUGUST 2016 - items 4

How cute is this? Now I want them to make some with all sorts of fruits and vegetables! How cute would a kiwi, pineapple, or veggie bag be?

A LITTLE BUNDLE AUGUST 2016 - items 5

One in a Melon Card – value: $3

Going along with the watermelon theme here, this is cute! I love puns and hand lettering/calligraphy, so this just works for me.

A LITTLE BUNDLE AUGUST 2016 - items 6

A Little Bundle Watermelon Tee – value: $23?

I love the tees from ALB. They are always so soft! This one feels especially so.  It’s light and breathable, too.

Verdict: This month’s A Little Bundle is very cute! I love all the watermelons because 1) they’re trending and 2) August 3rd was apparently National Watermelon Day! The value adds up to $44.95, which is just under the price of the box. Personally, I would like to see a box like this closer to a $30 cost or have it deliver more value (maybe add a fifth item?), so I’m a little disappointed with this month. That being said, I have found some things I love from this sub in the past so I’m holding out hope to seeing better from future boxes.

A Little Bundle use to be SO good. Their Hazel Village collaboration was my (and my son’s) all time favorite sub box find. However, this seems really sparse for a $50 box. The t-shirt is really cute but it does seem like this month is missing something. I feel like the decline of sub boxes (in general) is so tangible right now, which is sad because they use to be so fun.
