CitySeat Padded Bike Seat Cover – $35

If you have ever spent an elongated amount of time on a bike, you know that extra padding down there is a good think…no, a great thing. This is such a fun item for the box and so cute too!

Four Sigmatic Mushroom Elixir – $7

I’m so excited to have four different flavors of these teas to try! I’ve read about these before and Four Sigmatic is a well trusted brand. Mushrooms are one of the worlds most studied superfoods but people rarely think of them as health food. The taste is slightly bitter but both my husband and I liked the Mushroom Hot Cocoa.

TUFMED TUFRELIEF – $12

My husband opened this up right away and used it. He liked it – it is creamy and easy to rub in and the scent isn’t overpowering. You are supposed to use it three times a day for pain and sore muscles. TUFMED uses natural ingredient like aloe vera, coconut oil, arnica (we use this a lot in our house!), almond oil, comfrey, vitamin e, etc. in this rub.

Play Hard Give Back Fuel & Flow Artisan Trail Mix – $4

Play Hard Give Back (PHGB) is a socially conscious company trying to get people to #snackwithpurpose. PHGB gets athletes (and really anyone can pledge) to give back to a non-profit organization of their choosing. PHGB works with other businesses to help raise money too and 5% of their sales go toward NPOs. You can read all about the chosen social causes here and the good news is their trail mix tastes great too.

Hurraw! SPF 15 Sun Balm – $4.19

This is a vegan lip balm so there isn’t any beeswax but it still goes on smoothly and smells nice (mine was vanilla). I wore it for a morning swim meet and there was no burn so it works too! The only downside is that my lips had a faint tint of white.

Simple Square Cho-Coco – $3

Simple Square website says these are “Paleo, organic, Non GMO, gluten free, nutrition bars- with only 5 ingredients” – I don’t know about all that but they certainly are well labeled. My whole family liked the taste of these! They make a chili pepper bar too that I want to try next.

Red Flower Wanderlust Hand & Face Towelette – $8

Isn’t this package so pretty? And I love aromatherapy in a towelette for hands and face. The smell is absolutely heavenly too with a bit of citrus and cedarwood. I’m going to need more of these…

Yoga for You Free Month of Online Classes – $20

A month free of yoga, meditation or body sculpting classes at www.yogaforyouonline.com was included too. I’m excited to try this!

Verdict: This is my third month of receiving Wellness Tribe and they have consistently sent good products with almost every one being new to me! I love that everything is natural with recognizable ingredients and I think this box would make a fun gift for yourself or for a friend into natural products. There is a lot of variation in what they send and the box is very well curated. Plus, Wellness Tribe is a consistently good value. This month’s item total is $97 for the price of $39.95 (plus $5.00 shipping).

What do you think of Wellness Tribe this month?

  1. It is really interesting box. Hurraw is the only product that I have used before. The other items look great.
    Thanks for the review.

    • Thanks for the comment Melissa!

  2. Thanks for the review, Shawn! I hadn’t seen this sub before but it looks like something I’d totally be in to. My family got the TUFMED cream in a WODBOX last month & totally fell in love with it. It works great & my hubby likes it because there’s no pungent scent so he can wear it to work without others noticing. Do you know if there’s an option to get only GF/DF food/supplement items?

    • Thanks Tracy! We like the TUFMED too and for the same reason – works well and no smell. I haven’t seen options on the subscription page but you can always email them and ask. Good luck! I really like getting this box and I’m a bit picky. 🙂
