This parcel is sent via USPS 2 Day Priority Mail, so it arrived in the standard USPS packaging. The box inside was anything but standard! The outer box is a nice glossy black, with a paisley inner box. It opens like a little drawer…they definitely score points for a cool box. This month there was a postcard detailing all of the items included, which is always helpful!
This month's theme is "The Ramblin' Man."
Boomer & Co. Fresh Mint Body Wash/Shampoo - $3.95
This is one of those multitasking products that my husband loves! This one smells absolutely amazing and works really well. This body wash/shampoo has aloe vera in it for extra oomph and is naturally derived with organic ingredients.
Boomer & Co. Bay Rum & Lime Aftershave - $4.95
This one took a bit of a spill in my box before I received it, but thankfully it didn't ruin anything. It smells great, but the scent is slightly heavy. I wouldn't recommend using this on a really hot day - heat seems to intensify the scent of certain products!
Curated Basics Grey Floral Tie - $40.00
I really like this tie! It is really well made and the style can go either dressy, casual, or somewhere in between. It is a matte finish tie that is a bit skinnier than your traditional, business tie. I really like the style and the feel of the fabric. This would be perfect for any summer occasion!
Puccini Horizon Blue Polka Dot Pocket Square - $7.95
This pocket square is a vibrant royal blue color, with a white border and white polka dots. It is made from microfiber (which is interesting to me, I didn't know they used microfiber for much other than cleaning cloths!). I think the color is, again, perfect for summer and will work well with the tie, socks, and laces included in the box.
Dead Soxy - The McKinney Socks - $22.00
That's a lot of money for socks! These are really nice socks, and they are designed to stay up throughout the day. They are blue, with lilac stripes. They are a blend of ultra poly, spandex, nylon, and lycra.
Dead Soxy - Lilac Shoelaces - $8.00
These are stain and waterproof shoelaces that match the socks included in the box perfectly! They feel great and are a nice length. I already know my husband won't use them - he's not about the changing shoelaces life, but I think I know someone else that will love them!
Verdict: The Menswear Club box has a value of about $86.85. We really enjoyed all of the items in the box (with the exception of the shoelaces, which are still awesome). I love the mixture of products that The Menswear Club sends each month, it's like the PopSugar Must Have box for men!
