My first Switch was shipped via USPS first class mail and came with a prepaid return label. The welcome card also comes with instructions on how to return the jewelry.

When you sign up for Switch, you take a look at all the pieces in their collection and select your favorites. They then match your picks with what they have available and send you the number of pieces that match the plan you've chosen. You choose from actual items in their collection and not just something in a similar style.TheSwitch-009

Miansai Modern Screw Cuff Bracelet in Gold - Value $200

I picked this bracelet in the gold finish, but it also comes in rose gold. I like the simple, clean design and was delighted that it fit my small wrists. This is definitely a piece that you can dress up and down and something I can see myself wearing daily. This Miansai bracelet was included in a previous Rachel Zoe Box of Style!TheSwitch-011

It took me a minute to figure out how to get this on my wrist (I tried brute force and just couldn't fit my hand through it) and then realized the bar comes out! It's easy to unscrew and is much easier than trying to clasp a bracelet on yourself.

Switch Long Bar Earrings - Value $600

These are such pretty and delicate earrings! I like the long bar style, it feels very modern, and the tiny diamonds add a bit of glam.

VeganCutsQuarterlySummer-177Earrings in use! Don't worry, Switch sanitizes the pieces before sending them out. P.S. the bright pink in my hair is a reflection.

Verdict: I think this is a great subscription service for those who want to enjoy designer jewelry without having to pay the whole price tag. I wore these pieces to a fancy vegan dinner at a local club and they really helped elevate my look. Dressing up at least once a month for a date night (or even just wearing fancy jewelry for fun while you clean your house) is a treat I recommend for anyone.

Hello Emily,
First of all, I always enjoy reading your posts. They are very detailed & you include great pictures, both are helpful (or not, depending on how many Subs the Average person would think are too many. ?) I wanted to ask you a question & it’s out of the ordinary, so I decided to ask on an older review of yours. Your hair color is beautiful! (I used to have Redish-Blond hair however, after a T.B.I. & Surgery, my hair in that area grew back – thankfully, but it’s come in mostly gray. So I’ve had to continuously color my hair.) Would you mind telling me if that’s your natural color or if you use something? And if so, what is it? Sorry for the personal question & I hope I haven’t offended you in any way.
Thank you very much! -R

Thanks so much for your kind words about my reviews – and my hair! I have my hair dyed at a salon and my colorist uses L’Oreal’s INOA line. I think she mixes two reds together to get the color I have, which is more of a natural looking orange-red than a RED red.

Hope that helps!

Do the earring really have a retail value of $600? Are they real gold with legit diamonds? If so, that price to “rent” the two pieces (AND keep them for as long as you want!) is pretty awesome! I will definitely be looking into doing the one piece at a time subscription! Do they offer a significant amount of sterling silver or white gold options? Is the selection pretty good & is there a lot of variety (like rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, etc.)? Great review as well! Glad I learned about this sub today; it seems pretty great!

Hi Rhi!

The Switch website lists the retail value at $600 and says they are 18k gold with “10 GHS SI1 diamonds (0.04 TCW)”. It also says the diamonds are ethical and conflict free which is very nice. The brand is listed as Switch though, so I’m not sure there’s an easy way to double check the value.

They have a pretty good mix of styles, types of jewelry, and metals – you can check out their collection here: https://www.joinswitch.com/collections

Hope that helps!
