Please note that since many of the items in Super Geek Box are custom / exclusive, lots of these values are guesses.
R8-D8 T-shirt – Value $15?
You just can’t imagine how excited my ten-year-old was to receive this tee-shirt! He is a super mega Star Wars fan! Plus he finally understands what’s up with mash-up geek tees! Men and youth received this tee, and ladies received this same tee but with red lettering and some little hearts on it for some reason.
Beer-Mo Can Cooler – Value $5?
It is so hot right now. We use koozies like mad, all summer long. This is a really cute one!
Loyal Buddies: Dual-Tag Necklace – Value $5?
Of course my sons are completely obsessed with Pokemon Go right now, who isn’t? They are also really into dog tags (although I’m not sure why), so this necklace was a big hit with them!
16 Bit Gaming Pop-Art Decal – Value $3?
Although the boys are too young to remember 16-bit anything, my eight-year-old is obsessed with Yoshi! He loves this decal!
PocketPal T-Shirt Modifier – Value $3?
I may have mentioned this before, but my husband won’t let the kids watch Adventure Time. It’s a point we disagree on. But, since I hate ironing so very much, this would have been a bit of a miss for us anyway. The idea is to iron it on to the front of a plain t-shirt and make a little pocket pal. Very cute!
Dancing Groot Funko POP! – Value $7.14
If this had been the only thing that arrived in this month’s Super Geek Box, it would have still been awesome! My kids absolutely love Guardians of the Galaxy, and Baby Groot is my eight-year-old’s favorite character! This is the happiest addition they have made to their POP! collection in a while!
Verdict: Super Geek Box is awesome! The kids liked every item in the box and it will all go to good use (except the iron-on). I also appreciate that everything they send is kid-friendly, because as we have learned, not all geek swag is! The value this month (not counting the wrist band of course) comes to about $40, which is right on par with their $40 promise, and is super for a $20 box!
