June's theme is The Adventure Collection.

Square Hue Polish in Fireworks

Fireworks is a pink translucent polish with prismatic glitter. I like that they went with pink instead of traditional red for the July box. The coverage was really nice with 2-3 coats. Glitter polish is always a pain to remove and this is no exception. I recommend soaking off glitter polish by putting polish remover on a cotton ball, placing on your nail, and then wrapping in foil. Leave that on for a few minutes and it'll make removing the glitter much easier!

Square Hue Polish in Stars

Stars is a pale pink shimmer polish. I really love this color, it's a beautifully wearable pale pink with just a hint of shimmer. It's hard to photograph but I got a shot for you:

That's some subtle unicorn sparkle right there.

Square Hue Polish in Independence

Independence is true blue high gloss creme. It is my least favorite of the three because I rarely wear blue polish. The Square Hue formula is nice but thin, so you need 2-3 coats for solid coverage.

Here are all the colors on my nails. I'm really into the combination of the Stars (pale pink shimmer) with Fireworks (pink glitter). I made this into a less seasonal, more summer look by skipping Independence (blue high gloss creme) and painting my ring finger with Fireworks and the rest in Stars. So pretty!

Verdict: I'm really liking the colors this month! They're much more of a hit with me than June's selection. I can definitely see Stars becoming a regular in my polish rotation, the pale pink with subtle unicorn sparkle speaks to me! Independence is a miss but I look forward to breaking out Fireworks for special glitter occasions.

I thought the June colors were fairly wretched but these are all pretty.

Just a tip: whenever I use glitter polish, I use a peelable base coat (there are several on the market). That way you can just peel off the polish — makes it much easier!

Ooo that’s such a great tip! I didn’t even know peelable base coat was a thing. Thank you!
