Sencha Organic Green Tea - Value $9.69

This is a mild tasting green tea with a 3 out of 5 caffeine rating. This was a good light tea but I preferred the Mint Sencha.

Pique Tea-096

Jasmine Organic Green Tea- Value $9.69

The Jasmine Organic Green Tea is a green tea infused with Jasmine blossoms. It has a 3 out of 5 caffeine rating. The taste was very floral and this was my least favorite tea in the box. I also noticed it didn't dissolve as well as the other teas I tried.

Pique Tea-090

Earl Grey Organic Black Tea - Value $9.69

I prefer black teas over green so this one was a hit for me. Plus, it has the highest (5 of 5) caffeine rating in the box for that morning jolt.

Pique Tea-083

Mint Sencha Organic Green Tea - Value $9.69

I don't typically go for green teas but I really liked this one. The mint made it very refreshing and light. I enjoyed it both hot and cold - especially perfect as a cooling pick-me-up during a hot summer afternoon.

Verdict: When I first saw these powdered teas I thought they might be full of additives or chemicals, but I was wrong. They're made from organic tea leaves with no preservatives, artificial flavorings, or sugar. I love that they dissolve in both hot and cold water - it has been too hot here to really enjoy hot anything. These dissolving powdered teas cut out the normal steep time so you get your tea fix very fast. I didn't like the Jasmine tea but enjoyed the Mint Sencha and Earl Grey teas. As a bonus, the whole box experience is really well branded (I can't resist good design) which inspired me to bring in some flowers and props for my photos, hope you like them!

I signed up based on your review and am so glad I did! I am really enjoying the teas and in fact the subscription prices have gone down just a little bit since this was posted. They are a new company and so they are still figuring things out (hence the price reduction) but when they have a little hiccup now and then, their customer service is wonderful and right on top of things. They are very responsive and helpful and I love their products!

I live the speckled plates! Would you mind sharing where you bought them?

Hi Amanda! Thanks! The plate is actually a wooden tray from West Elm. The maker is The Vintage Vogue. Hope that helps!
