Tonymoly Mango Hand Butter – $12 (on sale at Jolse for $7.63)
This is one of the cutest and best smelling Korean hand creams I’ve ever received. It smells like really yummy mango and supplies my hands with creamy but lightweight hydration. I like the handy squeeze tube too.
Tonymoly Kiss Kiss Lovely Lip Patch – $4 (on sale at Memebox for $2.50)
I recently got this hydrogel lip patch in July’s 3B Box and had a blast with it. The lip patch really does hydrate and plump my lips, making them a smooth canvas for finicky matte or liquid lipsticks that typically accentuate fine lines and dry patches.
Mediheal Teatree Care Solution Essential Mask – $3 (on sale at Memebox for $2)
This is one of my favorite sheet masks and I’m happy to receive another one. It contains tea tree leaf oil to control sebum production and soothe skin. The essence is very watery and the mask fits my face well. After use I’m left with soft but non-sticky skin.
I’ve received these before and find them fun to use. The balls are made of 100% silk. Soak a ball in water for 2-3 minutes, then put it on your finger and massage it around targeted areas. Despite being fun to use, I don’t get a lot of blackheads so I can’t attest to how effective the treatment is.
Tosowoong Soft Touch Sun Cream – $18 (on sale at YesStyle for $8.90)
This is an oil-free and non-sticky SPF 32 sunscreen that’s appropriate for sensitive and troubled (acne-prone) skin types. It contains green tea, mulberry root, portulaca, and lotus extracts for extra skin care. The sunscreen smells pleasant and feels lightweight, but it does leave somewhat of a creamy finish that makes my face feel oily after a couple of hours. I think I will use this for the rest of my body instead.
Verdict: I really liked this month’s Mishibox. All the items were either full size or single-use. My favorite has to be the Tonymoly Mango Hand Butter– my mouth waters just thinking about it! The total retail value this month is $42, which is around twice the cost of subscription. There are online place where you can get these products for cheaper, but I still like the value of Mishibox.
