Each month comes with a colored poster and an info sheet on the back side. June’s theme is Victory!

FYI, Loot Anime recently partnered with Crunchyroll. If you’re a Crunchyroll Premium member you can verify your account to receive $5 off every month of Loot Anime or get more discounts for longer subscriptions! You can read more about it here.

Exclusive VICTORY Phone Charm – $2?

The monthly phone charm comes in the form of a victory cup. I think this is my favorite charm to date!

Exclusive Splatoon Plush – $14?

Splatoon is a third-person shooter game, made by Nintendo, where players shoot and swim in colored ink on different surfaces to gain control of the game map. The team that splatters more ink on the map wins. This squid plush is an example of what players transform into when they swim in ink. Splatoon sounds like a game I would totally enjoy playing, but I’m curious as to why it is included in Loot Anime and not a gaming box.

Exclusive Free!: Eternal Summer Water Bottle – $15?

Free! is a sports anime about high school life and swimming! This water bottle includes a handy carabiner clip. Characters from Free! magically appear on the bottle when filled with cold water.

Exclusive Free! Luggage Tag – $8?

This is a luggage tag that is appropriately filled with colored liquid and whales on one side! It’s made of flexible clear plastic while the blue strap is plastic.

Exclusive Yowamushi Pedal Metallic Cover Manga Vol. 1 – $16.32

Yowamushi Pedal is a sports manga and anime about a high schooler, Onoda, and his adventures in the bicycle racing club. This one has an exclusive metallic cover. I also can’t stop laughing at the great manga description:

“For the love of all things otaku– anime, video games, figures, you name it! Power-pedaling Sakamichi Onoda has long been conquering the steepest slopes and regularly making the ninety-kilometer round-trip to Akihabara on a mommy bike!! But when his bike commute to his new high school lands him in a confrontation with the serious first-year road racer Imaizumi, Onoda has a major showdown in his hands! Can this meek geek really out-pedal the future ace of the school road-racing team?!”

Exclusive Yowamushi Pedal T-Shirt – $12?

This month’s shirt is inspired by the bicycle racing club uniform from Yowamushi Pedal. Bright yellow is an uncommon shirt color so I’m excited that they’re mixing things up. My boyfriend, who is modeling the shirt here, likes the softness but says the hem is too long.

Verdict: I do not gravitate toward sports-related anime and manga so these titles were all unfamiliar to me. However, I like the variety of included items. My favorite is the Yowamushi Pedal manga, though my boyfriend is very eager to claim the Splatoon plush for himself. Item quality seems to have improved since the Crunchyroll partnership as well, so I hope this partnership continues! Total value is an estimated $67.32, which is more than twice the cost of subscription.
