Little Lace Box August 2016 Theme Spoiler + Coupons

I love mornings especially when everyone is asleep and it’s so incredibly quiet, with the exception of the tick, tock, tick, tock from the clock and the occasional neighborhood dog barking at the early morning runners going by. There’s truly something so peaceful about sitting in the quiet of the morning with that first cup of coffee (which I need in order to actually open my eyes) and reflecting on all that is good in life and all of those I love most, still asleep, dreaming the night away. I love this morning ritual, it helps me get focused for the crazy day ahead.

When we were trying to decide on the August theme we started the discussion early in the morning and some of us (who shall remain nameless) are not “morning” people. In fact, she’s such a non-morning person I think we’ve mentioned it in a previous letter. Our meeting turned into a discussion about our morning routines and all of the things that help us start our day. And thus our theme was born!

The August box will be curated around brands and products for you and your home. Products that will get your day started off right! We can’t let you know what’s in the box but we will be sending all subscribers an email to request a bit of personalized information. We’re super excited about the August box and can’t wait to share what we’ve found and what inspires us to have a good morning and a great day. Until then…

  4. Not to stir things up, but I really want to try this sub but have been steadfastly avoiding it because of the problems last year. I have been following comments on various sites and it seems that perhaps they have resolved any issues. I still don’t like what they did, but am wondering how others are feeling about CS, issues in the past, etc. and whether or not it is worth subscribing.

    • Unless and until they issue apologies to those subscribers they treated horribly, I won’t give them a dime even if they send gold bars. For me its the principal. Changing poor behavior is a start; acknowledging it to those they wronged is still necessary since they have never come close to apologizing to anyone.

      • Yeah, I hear you…and you are right. They never reached out to apologize did they? Such a shame. I guess I keep thinking I need (well, want) more non-beauty subs and this seems nice. But yeah, you’re right.

      • I wish I knew what your comment was about, lol. You peeked my curiosity because I have been wanting to sub this box too. I sub the serendipity already.

        • I’ve subscribed to LLB for over a year and Serendiptiy for a few months now and have had nothing but very positive experiences with their customer service. I think they’re helpful and responsive!

          • They are NOW. But for those of us treated horribly a year ago, it matters not one iota. I will never reward inexcusable behavior and certainly not from a business I am paying for a service. So while it’s great that NEW subscribers this year are having positive experiences you would do well to search for the history on this company to see just how heinous they were to paying customers. As a judge I could not fathom treating a defendant before me with the level of disdain this company heaped upon subscribers for literally no reason.

        • I also pre-paid for a year of Serendipity when they opened up the subs last month. Based on these comments, I really hope that wasn’t a mistake.

        • I had also been wanting to sub to this box, and being fairly new to subscription boxes, I wasn’t aware of the issues. However, I just finished doing a little research and it has made up my mind to not subscribe to this company. So it may be worth a quick google search 🙂

    • CasinoGal, I can tell you that there are definitely NO problems with LLB! Their customer service is the best of the boxes I have subscribed to (If you have a problem ask for Kat ?). It is my favorite subscription (both the box and Serendipity) because the value is great and they always feature unique items. So, for me it is definitely worth subscribing!

      • I totally agree. Having subscribed to both their reg box for a year+ and serendipity since started love both. When I have reached out to CS, they were awesome. I have yet to experience any of the concerns some noted long ago, they have been professional and so helpful.

    • I have been a subscriber for over a year. One time they forgot to send me an item so they sent me that item along with extra stuff another time glass dish broke and they quickly sent me a replacement. I have had nothing but great experiences dealing with LLBs customer service.

  5. I hope it’s not coffee. Blech…hate coffee. Actually, I don’t consume caffeine at all…..well, except chocolate but that’s a category unto itself.

  6. I signed up for the year. I’ve always liked their boxes and I’m happy to have the $50 gift card for the LLB store (and $20 off coupon). Can’t wait for Serendipity!

  7. I’m sure there’ll be some sort of coffee in it which I don’t drink but I don’t care because LLB is my favorite sub! It has replaced PopSugar for me (even though I still get PopSugar). I love the themes and the products are so fun.

  8. Has anyone received their tracking for serendipity yet? I know this post says they just started shipping today. I haven’t received mine and saw nothing on my llb account.

    • I haven’t yet.

    • I haven’t, and as per usual, that makes me super anxious…

      • Michelle, I emailed them today. I received a very quick reply that they just started shipping today and I’ll receive a shipping notice when it ships out. I haven’t received one yet today. Hopefully tomorrow!

    • Anyone know anything more about serendipity? This is my first month and I’ve received zero notifications. I’m concerned I’m not in the system??

      • Michelle, I got my first shipping notice on the 23rd. I read about some others not getting shipping info but it being available on their account page at LLB. Hope this is the case for you!

  9. This is the first spoiler for LLB that has really caught my interest!

    But every time that I attempted to add the bi-monthly subscription to my cart, I received a strange error message page.

    Anyone else have this issue?

    I sent an email to LLB to see if anyone could help 🙂

  10. I just hope I get the email! I haven’t been getting tracking for my LLB boxes, had to email them to get my June Serendipity, it never shipped. I’m praying for something other than tea or coffee which I don’t drink.

    • I don’t drink coffee or tea either.

  11. That was my first thought ~ something to do with coffee or tea. Let’s hope coffee related and I love home items. August looks like it will be a great month!

    • No coffee or tea for me. Hot cocoa would be good.

  12. Excited! They put together amazing boxes!! I am looking forward to this month’s serendipity (I am continously baffled at how they put together those awesome boxes at that price!) and to August’s LLB! If it is tea or coffee related in anyway, I may buy an extra box to enjoy both sides!

  13. I just got this email and I am SO excited. I’m a total morning person (my young kids choice…) I’m hoping for some great coffee, maybe some eye patches, sunglasses???
