This letter was included in my box this month. Let’s Sparkle for the 4th!

Here’s a little bit about how this subscription works. Basically, you pay your styling fee and receive your box full of clothes and accessories. You have three days to decide what you would like to keep and what you want to return. They send a return envelope so you can send back anything you don’t want to keep, and the postage is pre-paid so you don’t have to pay to return things. You’re charged for what you do keep. It’s that simple!

This is my invoice for the package. The retail prices are listed, but as a Bling Box member, I get a special VIP discounted price on the items sent. If I choose to keep everything in the box, I get a 20% discount on the whole thing. And of course, my styling fee is deducted from whatever I decide to keep. This might be confusing to you since my styling fee has been waived, but normally this line item would have your styling fee ($49) deducted. In this case, the original retail price for all the items was $363. If I keep everything in the box, my outstanding cost is only $218.40!

Gina Louise Embroidered Top – Price to keep $40

This top is PERFECT for summer, and it’s a Gina Louise original design! I love how funky her stuff is! This is lightweight and breezy, too.

JM Tunic – Price to keep $45

This tunic is interesting, and I can see how it would be an easy win for some people. For me, however, the combination of long sleeves and closed neckline is a deal breaker. I’m not wild about the pattern, either. This will have to go back.

Rivet JM Top – Price to keep $45

I am slowly working my way into modeling these clothes for you, so thank you for your support and patience. I really love this top, but the long sleeves! We had a heat index of 114 degrees when this picture was taken. BUT, my husband loves it so I’m keeping it.

Peachcock Rhinestone Leggings – Price to keep $40

I love the rhinestones on these leggings! What a pretty design! White does nothing for my legs, particularly, but with a skirt or dress, I think these leggings could add the perfect amount of sparkle.

Flag Scarf – Price to keep $20

Living in the South most of my life has made the concept of summer scarves pretty foreign to me. But can I resist an American flag scarf? You know, Veteran’s Day *is* coming… I think I have to keep this one.

Glitter Ballet Flats – Price to keep $35

These shoes are really pretty, and I kind of want to keep them. So I will! I don’t have anything else like them.

Flag Aviator Sunglasses – Price to keep $8

These shades are incredible. Welcome to the cornerstone of my summer look.

Handmade Patriot Crystal Drop Pendant – Price to keep $20

This necklace is really glittery and pretty! It’s not my usual style, though, so I’m a little on the fence about keeping it.

Gold Rhinestone X Cuff – Price to keep $20

I love this bracelet! I’ve already worn it a couple of times and have received tons of compliments on it! It’s substantial but kind of delicate, which is a look I totally love.

I wasn’t expecting this! A gift! It also looks like the membership price / styling fee is reduced to $20 per month after you’ve been a subscriber for three months!

This was my free gift from Gina! A coin purse, nail polish, and some holiday-themed toe spacers! How fun and thoughtful!

Verdict: What I really wanted to do was to model everything all at once so you would get the full effect, but the heat wouldn’t allow it. I know they’re not meant to be worn all together, but wow! What a lot of red, white, and bling! I love my Gina Louise Bling Box subscription. She sends me really unique stuff every month, and that’s what I enjoy most. This box was all about the holiday, so it deviated a little from my usual style, but there’s still lots of great stuff in here that I am totally keeping. I never thought a pair of novelty sunglasses could make me so happy, but here we are!

What do you think of the Gina Louise Bling Box? Are you going to give them a try?

  1. You look super cute! I’m so glad you decided to keep it!! 🙂

  2. Thanks Anna for modeling the shirt. You look fabulous! It is always so helpful to see the clothes on someone. Keep up the awesome reviews. I love your writing style. ☺

  3. Great review Anna, I really appreciate you modeling for us, you look fab!

  4. Anna your skin tone is exactly the same as mine what kind of foundation you use if you don’t my asking? I have tried tons and still can’t find one that’s right.

  5. I am not plus-size – yet 🙂 – but my twin cousins are and have always been. They simply will never have the body types to be below a size 14 or 16. One got down to a 10 once and looked waaaay too thin! What I always hate about shopping with them is how shapeless clothes look on mannequins or hangers. An XS tee is not going to look the same as a 2X because the hangers are made for the smaller sizes. Draping will be off. So I cannot even image how something would look ON a body! I think it makes a massive difference to see these items on you, Anna. Women can tell what will work for them so much better when a “live” model demonstrates. So think of modeling as a service project and don’t be shy!

What seems neat about this sub is while others like Nadine West are trying to fill a lower cost sub void, the clothes, etc. look cheap. Gina’s stuff is affordable but does not look cheap. Massive difference!

  6. Love your pictures and reviews, the bracelet is really nice and love the selection that this subscription offers :-).

  7. Great pics and review 🙂 If you do decide to keep everything u might want to just gift that one top you aren’t sure about as you would get it for free with that 20% discount on everything. It’s nice to see people that are not double zero modeling things as it gives me a better idea on what it would actually look like on me. You look great and that color looks really pretty on you 🙂

  8. Thanks for modeling for us! Fabulous!

  9. Gorgeous photo of you! The camera loves you! ???

    • lol! Thanks Rie!

  10. Soooo tempted! That first top took my breath away. And have to agree with your hubby…the blue top looks great in you!

    • Thanks Ks!

  11. Anna,
You look wonderful in your picture! And a Hubby approved top is ALWAYS a keeper!!??? Awesome review! This was a very well themed box! I love the connectivity in the pieces.

    • Thanks Geordana!

  12. I am obsessed with those sunglasses! I saw them on a model last summer and could never find them.

I really love the look if that first top. The tunic annoys me because that window pane print feels really out dated and my pet peeve is plus size fashion that is dated. But, hey, what do I know? Maybe that pattern us coming back into fashion…

Also want to add my thanks for you modeling the clothes. You look great!

As a short, plus size woman; I really appreciate seeing fashion on all sorts of body types. Thanks again for putting yourself out there.

    • Thanks Loba! Glad it helps!

Love that you are modeling the top and you looked great in it!! I have olive undertones and look dead in that color, you shine!! Beautiful and a perfect review!! Thank you!!!
    Hope you keep the top!!

    • Thanks Cheree! So sweet of you!

  14. Wow what a great box! I’m loving the tops, shoes and that blingy bracelet! I appreciate you modeling that top- you look great on camera BTW so more pics! I’m a bit plus sized myself so I can really relate to those tunics. I need to give this one some thought- I’ve held off on clothing subs because I haven’t found any that I’m really crazy about- but this one looks real promising. Thks!

    • Thanks for the vote of confidence, Trish!

  15. Great review — you look great in that rivet top, and that navy color is especially pretty with your dark hair! And I LOVE the shoes!

    • Thanks Orlee!

  16. If something is perfect., I buy it even if it isn’t seasonally fit.

  17. What a great box! And shoes!!! So wish I could afford this, but I like my husband and want to stay married. : ) Love the pictures. You are so much more beautiful than a dress form!! Keep rocking it!

    • Thank you Crystal! I’ll try! Lol!

  18. Thank you so much for modeling the top! I think especially for us plus-size gals, seeing clothing on real bodies is important, as opposed to how they drape on a dress form. I totally agree with all of the above — you look great! And every woman should own shoes that make them smile, like it seems the sparkle flats do for you!

    • Thank you Mimi! So glad it helps!

  19. Wonderful review! Thank you?

    • Thanks Monica!

  20. OMG yay there you are! You look great! I love that your sense of style is so different from mine because I get to see all these interesting boxes/GB looks I wouldn’t have picked for myself. Thanks for modeling – it’s wonderful to see the options out there for curvier ladies on real people.

    • Thank you Ali! That makes me so happy to hear!

  21. Anna! You are gorgeous! The blouse looks great on you and thank you for modeling!

    • Awwww thank you Stephanie!

  22. Thanks for modeling, Anna! You look beautiful!

    What a fun box!

    • Thanks chris!

  23. I love your style!

    • Thanks so much Sam! What a nice compliment!

  24. Anna – I just wanted to let you know that you are BEAUTIFUL! I love that you are conquering your fear and modeling the clothes – I am working my way into that as well! I am plus size too, and get the Gina Louise Bling Box. I love it, and Gina is so great! I was on the fence as well with the long navy/white tunic because of the long sleeves and closed neckline, but decided to wear it for a few minutes, and with my hair up, it looked better than I thought! Great review, thanks!

    • Thanks so much Cheryl!

  25. Great job modeling! You look great and it is so helpful to see how things look on a person instead of a dress form!

    • Thanks Shannon! I’m so pleased it helps!

  26. Hi Anna, thank you for the review and for modeling the top, you look very pretty! I think the top fits you good and that’s a great color. Plus, if the hubby likes it say no more right? I love your reviews and hope you continue to model the items it gives us a much clearer idea of how they actually look like in person.

    • Thanks Anna! Glad to hear it!

  27. Great job modeling, Anna!

    • Thanks Jessica!

  28. Good for you for stepping out of your comfort zone and modeling! You look really cute in that top, but I can’t imagine putting on long sleeves right now (I’m in Florida and the very idea has me sweating!).

I like that this sub treats its customers well after longer subscriptions, I will be looking into it!

    • Thanks Jackie! I love it! OMG I can’t imagine the heat in Florida rn!
