This month’s shirt had an incredible presentation! Kudos, Geek Fuel! Open up the ghost trap to find your shirt inside…

Geek Fuel Subscription Box Review + Exclusive Coupon July 2016 - shirt

Slimer Shirt – Value $15?

This month’s shirt features Slimer! It’s a great, and unique, shirt – without the need for any mashup details – I love it! I really enjoy when Geek Fuel makes the little presentation details extra special for unboxing – it just shows a level of curation and care, in my opinion.

Geek Fuel Subscription Box Review + Exclusive Coupon July 2016 - shower curtain

Time Travel Police Box Shoer Curtain – Value $15-20?

I’m not sure of what size this curtain is – so I ballparked the value with the available options on Amazon.

I do know that it’s big enough to make photography near impossible. Here’s a look at the detail. It also comes with clear plastic curtain rings.

Boo-Busters Button – Value $5?

This is a mashup I can get behind. I don’t have much use for buttons – but I like see the boo ghosts from Mario as the Ghostbusters logo!

Geek Fuel Subscription Box Review + Exclusive Coupon July 2016 - wall decal

Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 Repositionable Wall Decals – Value $10?

I believe that this particular decal is exclusive to Geek Fuel. I found similar deals on Amazon for around $10 – but not this one. There were six possibilities – but I’m not sure that they were all exclusive – what did you get?

Geek Fuel Subscription Box Review + Exclusive Coupon July 2016 - Aliens cards

Alien Playing Cards – Value $10 on Amazon

I have numerous decks of geeky cards these days – this one is one of the best I’ve received. They’re good quality cards, and I love the graphic design on them.

Geek Fuel Subscription Box Review + Exclusive Coupon July 2016 - steam game package

Geek Fuel Subscription Box Review + Exclusive Coupon July 2016 - steam game and air freshener

Badland “Game of the Year Edition” Steam Game + Air Freshener – Value $12?

I added an extra $2 value for the air freshener, which is incredibly potent – don’t open it until you’re ready to use it – wow. This game looks BEAUTIFUL! I’m so excited to try it out, it reminds me of the recent Rayman games – which are one of the few games that I MUST play and have a blast finishing.

Check out some footage:

Verdict: I’m pretty happy with this month’s Geek Fuel. This is the best looking game we’ve received to-date and the shirt is fantastic. The other items are alright as well (I suspect a Doctor Who fan will love the curtain) – I think my indecision exists because it doesn’t feel like there is much of a hero item this month. But, that’s ok, as whole it’s was a good box for me.

What did you think of the July Geek Fuel?

  1. Hey, all – I had a fun idea. Instead of just tossing the box the shirt came in, you can put tissues in it. It’s the perfect size. (I just taped the flaps from the inside.)

  2. Do you know the scent of the air freshener? thanks

  3. My shower curtain is up for swap.

  4. I’ve often wondered if that’s what the Slimer really was? I think I can happen when you eat beets.

  5. My son received his box today and we were both thinking it was the best one he had ever gotten. Love the shirt (and the presentation) and the shower curtain was awesome! We are both Dr. Who fans so win!! We could not figure out where the free downloadable Steam code was though. We kept looking and just couldn’t figure it out. I told him that Eric on MySubscriptionAddiction would have a review up soon and we’d see if there just wasn’t a game this month. So now I know it’s on the back of the air freshener LOL. Thanks Eric!

    • Haha no problem! The game looks like a fun one this month!

  6. I would LOVE to swap for that shower curtain! *drools*

  7. “Slimer Sh**” is cracking me up right now. You might want to add a”R” to the word. Lol.

    • Haha – whoops. If only my fingers could keep up with my brain…thanks!
